Forums 2nd Anniversary

Today marks 2 years since the implementation of these forums on webbcraft.co.uk. It's been a great year of activity and success for the forums, we surpassed 2000 and then 3000 total topics and reached over 40,000 total posts on the forum (43206 currently).

Last year I compiled a list of the top 30 forum posters with their post counts. Since then, I have added a post count for everyone on their profile page so it isn't that much of a mystery as it used to be. Nevertheless, looking through the profiles of over 2000 website members to find the top posters would be tedious and time consuming, so I will be releasing a utility that dynamically displays the top 30 users with the most forum posts in the new statistics section (that has yet to be bestowed with a proper index page).

In April 2015 I added a measure of views to each topic. Almost a year later, this data can be analysed to compile a list of the topics with the most views and replies to find trends within them and which category they come from.
Below I have included a list of the top 30 topics with the most replies and their relative view count. The top thread has almost 300 replies!

As you can see, most of them seem to come from the category ID 1 which is the moderator applications section. The category IDs are the order they appear in the forum index (1 is moderator applications, 2 is ban appeals, 3 is suggestions, 4 is complaints and 5 is general).
