As an authoritarian figure on this server, chip, I cannot believe you'd actually side with someone who was taking away the right to happiness from another player, as seen in this forum post:http://webbcraft.co.uk/forum/read_topic.php?id=3339 After mumfie's vulgar response to alia's moderator application, you decided to appeal to mumfie's comment rather than to fulfill your staff role's requisite to stop any discrepancies in the forum, which I cannot even wrap my mind around. Yes, she is from the United States of America, but that doesn't mean she should be picked on and her rights to be happy be taken away from someone who you agreed with like it was no big deal at all. It might have offended people and you did nothing to stop mumfie. If you want staff, try to appeal to the community by making unbiased choices or actions instead of appealing to one specific person. My past staffing has given good example to this. Here is just one of many complaints that i have launched an investigation on: http://www.webbcraft.co.uk/forum/read_topic.php?id=2935 for that complaint i had to get out of bed when i was very ill and it took me about an hour to investigate and a further 15 minutes to calculate the information i gathered and to put it into words. There are a list of topics where i have created a full response, showing completely that i do NOT jump to conclusions and i do DO my research... as for maturity, that's your opinion, although many players' opinions differ from yours. could i also add that i only saw you for the first time today since you were unbanned and at no point during this time did i talk. |

I am revoking my +1.-1. Recently I have seen him stirring things up between him and Lerz and then tries to look good. We were all having a friendly conversation about a hacker that he saw when he was offline and he jumped in and said we were all lying, (Lerz, Shr3k, Shindori and I). He was very rude, called Lerz retarded and laughed when I said I was offended, (I have a disabled cousin and another dead cousin who had several palsy), and he's false, rude and desperate for power. You told me over skype that all the staff were against him and were going to get him demoted, after speaking with some staff I can happily say you were lying, most staff like him. You say you have "loads of proof" of Lerz being immature/rude/abusive, you showed me ONE piece, where he kicked you jokingly. I asked for the others and your excuse was: "Well for reasons, I cannot share anything more than that, because if I do.. he'll find out what the staff are doing which isn't exactly in his favour". You are rude, immature and power hungry and do not deserve the spot. |

What the actual fuck mike? I do not hate him. If I hated him I wouldn't go to visit him. I have the -1 put up because of a joke he took WAY TOO FAR. And he damn well knows that. I mean, Mods, let alone Admins, are not supposed to joke about taking the server down. That's why I would not like to see him as an Admin. Besides that, yes, he does deserve his rank. After chatting with chip for some time now I'd like to take back my -1. The dedication he puts to this server is quite special, I've never seen anyone that motivated in quite some time. I think it's worth a shot to make him an Admin.He takes this extremely serious, which I struggle to understand because it's just a game meant to have fun in. But I've realized, the reason he takes it serious is because he is having fun, he loves this, this is what he wants, and it's hard for someone to do a bad job if the legitimately enjoy what they're doing. +1 for your admin app Chip. I am aware that the Administrator rank can be stressful and effect a staff member in a bad way, although, being an owner of a relatively successful server - I think I have experienced a good deal of stress and responsibility. I have told other staff members to, "just ban me if you think I get abusive or something". |

As far as I am aware, luigi changed his mind about 3 months ago and allowed us (to an extent) to punish in game for actions on the forum, although I don't think luigi is a massive fan of it.One of the main ideas of punishments is to prevent it from happening again, punishing in-game does not prevent actions on the forum happening again, which is what luigi's main point was. Although, punishing in-game does in fact punish the player and make them realise that they won't get away with it without a punishment - which I think is what won luigi over. Does this make sense now? |
