Howdy everyone,
In light of our recent anniversary, I've offered to write a small-medium scale history of the Mushroom Co. But to do this, I'll need your help. Because this is a relatively old community, we have a lot of users who have been here since the beginning, and some whose memories might not be as sharp as they were, mostly because aging clouds the past. Now, here is where you come in, users!
I have put a dropbox at spawn in front of my armor stand statue (go to spawn, turn right, go outside, you'll see it). If you remember certain server events, please write them down on books and put them in the hopper. Copies will be kept at my villa island and Gilg's Library so that nothing gets lost.
Eight Rules
I am laying out Eight rules to keep my source material as clean as possible, and to avoid headaches while compiling your contributions.
- Under no circumstance will you include personal beefs, fights, or drama. Keep it server related so that I don't have to read burn books.
- Slandering old players in these histories will not be tolerated, be truthful, be charitable.
- Tell the truth & what you remember about server villains. Be precise in what they did, don't sound like a Roman describing his political enemies.
- Make sure that every event has a date, the more precision the better.
- Understand I will keep your books and archive them. Do not put sensitive information in them.
- Don't be too verbose. I don't want anything overly-long.
- Make sure I know who the book is coming from, seal and label it.
- Lastly, have fun! This is a project for the server's sake, collaborate with each other!
