Hello,Map: Myself and a lot of other players have been wondering when the map is likely to be reset. I've heard some people say 6+ months and others say in the next coming weeks, I would love a map reset and I'm sure a lot of other players will agree with me here. We have had this map for many months, nearly / over a year I believe and think it's time for a change, not only will a new map give everybody a fresh start but it will also bring back many old players like myself who are bored of the current map as it is already filled and there is nothing left to do. I am interested to hear your opinions on this :) Spawn: If a new map is decided, we are going to need a new spawn. Rather than starting out with the original, 5x5 wooden box for a few months, I think we should host a competition of sorts and let the community vote on which they would like to see for the next map. +1Definitely agree on the new spawn, and not starting on the wooden box. Most likely I'm guessing reset will be in 1.17 with all the new overworld changes coming, but I could be wrong. As a spawn though, we need a spawn with one big door like the old spawns. Spawns that have more than one side to it are too big for a small community, and one door spawns create a much more tightknit spawn. The spawns that come to mind are the Big Ben spawns and the greek themed temple, those have been the best spawns we've had and we need another one like it. |

+1 if and only if there are to be some repairs on the plugins.Also, Build! Across 10k things get reset. There is fresh land. Etras is expanding really fast and I'm not even near to completing half of my projects. Just get an idea and build. Minecraft is just limited to the imagination! |

+1 I agree with Tye. I'm not too sure on the map yet because I haven't been on it for as long as you guys, but I'm certain a new spawn would be great. Our current one is alright, but it can be quite confusing at times (at least for me). There's all the different ways to go from spawn for rules or help etc. and it can get quite confusing, especially for new players. We have had great spawns in past like Tye mentioned, so I'm sure we could make something amazing for the next map. |

+1We should update once 1.17 comes on, the current map isn't totally dull right now but it is over a year old. I think everybody expects 1.17 to drastically change world generation, bringing much needed excitement and fresh looks into the caverns and skies. Sticking to a pre 1.17 map would really suck in that case, so its practically a given that the reset happens then. As for spawn, that stupid wooden box has and always will be our first spawn. It has been proven time and time again that that spawn building doesn't work. It not only looks dull but is a well known fire hazard, traps players if there's lots of entities or possibly bots at spawn, causing entity cramming and death. We need a large, inflammable spawn that is both welcoming and conveys what the server is without misleading people. Sometimes people look at more grander spawns that we have and think it is a HUB to multiple worlds like a weird larger server would have. It should be simple to let everyone know that it is just a single survival world, while also being welcoming and open-aired so that we don't have to worry about bots or fire inside of it. None of those suggestions matter though because we all know its gonna be a stupid wooden box. Luigi likes what doesn't work. |
