Ok so,it was either 2014 or 2015, my friends and I were at one of those teen hangout places and we were playing Minecraft. One of my friends brought up this thing called the "ping of death" I was tasked with finding a server, the one I found was... you guessed it, The Mushroom Co. So my friend started using his limited knowledge of technology to try pinging this server, the server did not go down and we then moved on to another server. While I was looking around for servers I took a particular interest in this one and I emailed the ip to myself (I did not have a phone at this time) and I joined the server (without any malicious intent) when I got home... There is my "story", so how did you find your way here? |

I was looking for the Mindcrack and Hermitcraft servers and realized they were whitelist only. I saw Mush Co and aimlessly stumbled in thinking one day I'll be the top shit of the server. |

I googled Survival MC server. I tried 3-4 servers and mush is the only one that i didn't die and lost all my stuff super fast (Yes, i RQ'd at least 2 servers before joining).I've been a default for about a week until a staff member asked me if i wanted to be promoted. I noticed that the server was simple and not too crowded and decided to keep joining often... And here i am now! It was totally random and unexpected, I didn't think i would keep playing this game for that long. |

I created Mushroom Co. but I'll share the story of how I found out about Webbcraft which was originally run by tyran68. I was watching a youtube video, I think it was Yogscast Survival Island Episode 1, and in the youtube comments there was an advertisement, something like "join my server 178.239.163.44" so I added it to my server list and joined. Later I invited my friends to join and we created a faction.I used to find a few small servers like that, on youtube videos I used to watch. Another one I forgot the name of was home hosted and it was a town where each player owned a shop and sold a specific type of item - like wool, meat, potions, wood, iron, etc. I sold bread but I remember that I kept a secret underground room with sheep and started to sell wool as well so the wool guy got upset at me for breaking his monopoly. Another server I think was called Jack's server I spent some time mining and build a house next to one of the admins. |

I was on a list of servers and this one looked simple with a good amount of people (not too many, not too little) and i was like "ok fuck it if I dont like it I can just start shit and leave" and then I guess I liked it or something because here I am almost 3 years later still in this fuckhole and I cant leave |

Was a fan of Etho's Mindcrack & Hermitcraft (Early Mindcrack and a short bit of Hermitcraft) So my 3 year younger self spent an entire day looking for a similar server. Since a lot of the servers were private and whitelisted, I couldn't find many similar servers. Mush is special because it's a accepting tightly knitted community, meeting my standards of an acceptable server. |

so over a year ago i was OBSESSED with hermitcraft (i still am) and i really wanted to play on a server like the hermits did. so i spent about a month just searching thorugh "survival server" lists, trying to find a good one, when i went on mush, i immediately knew it was good. everyone was kind to me when i joined, they all said welcome and everything that we do now a days, and it was great. i died and rage quit that day, but came back to it the next day and actually started playing. then i kept playing, and now im where i am now. :D thank you to this server for being kind, fun, and awesome! :D |
