I keep trying to join hoping it'll have been fixed but everytime I try i'm getting an error message: (Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: Badly compressed packet - size of 2401272 is larger than protocol maximum of 2097152)I think this is something to do with the fact that when the server initially crashed for me I was near some Mods who were rolling back a griefed area, although I'm not sure... I can see others aren't having the same issue as people are online. I don't know how to resolve this, but any help would be appreciated! |

in short, the message means that there is too much data for you to be able to download.Do you think that your issue may be related to the these people's issue? http://webbcraft.co.uk/forum/read_topic.php?id=5115 http://webbcraft.co.uk/forum/read_topic.php?id=5114 When I ask if you think your issue may be related, I am asking if you have added anything to your inventory that may have caused you to have this error. specifically, have you put any chests in your inventory named "copy me" or something along those lines? You might be another victim to the 'Chest hack'. If you think that this might be the case, attempt to join the server in ANY way (example minechat) and request that an admin clears your inventory, if you cannot join the server at all then Luigi will have to delete your file. If you think this is not the case, then try lowering your render distance to 5, and decreasing your video settings. If none of this helps, then I am not sure what to do. |

I wasn't given any chests or anything like that so I don't think that's the issue and I tried lowering my video settings but that didn't work either... I'll try the minechat |

El_Glovenator, was your problem fixed? And if not then try to remember the last thing you did before it crashed (e.g did you open a chest, did someone give you stacks of a item and if so I'll need a name..) Like anything along those lines.Also if it haven't been fixed try to get on minechat and I'll clear your inventory to see if it works if not then idk what to say about this. |
