Hey everyone, I've missed being more active on the server like I used to be. This year has been pretty hard on me so far as I've spent a good chunk of it in hospital.I'll give you guys the brief version since this spans over several months. What started out as kidney stones (4mm & 9mm) rapidly transformed into a horrific nightmare. I ended up with the following: > Kidney & ureter damage from an incorrectly placed and removed stent > Clot colic & internal bleeding > 2 kidney infections, one of which developed into septic shock > 3 new drug allergies re-triggered by my Stevens-Johnson Syndrome > Compromised immune system (which is to be investigated by an immunologist) > Partially collapsed lungs due to having 2 bouts of general anaesthesia too close together > Dangerously low pulse and blood pressure > 3 grand mal seizures I am currently in hospital after having my 3rd surgery this morning. This is supposed to be my last one and they're keeping me here for 5 days. |
