@Presinus it was a laparoscopic biopsy with endometrial ablation and tubal ligation
Unfortunately the surgery failed. They were unable to perform the planned procedures because my condition is a lot more severe than they originally thought. I will be undergoing major surgery (full hysterectomy) in a few weeks once I have healed from this biopsy.
Imma try my hardest to translate Before: "laparoscopic biopsy with endometrial ablation and tubal ligation" After: "They'll start by looking around inside my body using a robotic camera. At some point they need to remove some tissue for examination, and they'll tie off a tube (or vessel) while they're at it"
Idk how correct my translation was, so feel free to tell me. As for the hysterectomy, my mom just got one recently and she's doing just fine. Just don't lift over 5lbs within 6 weeks after the surgery.
Correct on the biopsy :)
the tubal ligation in this case would have been the complete removal of the fallopian tubes
and endometrial ablation is the destruction of the lining of the uterus, in this case using a small device to burn it away
Glad your mum is doing well! Since I'm so young (28), it will take 6-8 weeks for recovery with 12 weeks of menopause. Heh.
