I also think everyone should be allowed to serve. The problem I see however is that surgeries for gender transitions are funded by the Department of Defense when a transgender person is serving in the military. I personally think they should stop funding that. Surgeries for gender transition are quite expensive which is just a waste of taxpayer money imo. (Hormone replacement therapies alone can cost about $1500 a year, and people who changed their gender might need HRT their whole life) |

Shindori, the entire US military is an entire waste of taxpayers money. They could just lower the US military budget by 10% and keep funding the surgeries etc. problem solved. |

The question is, do you want the money you worked for to be used for some dude who wishes to have boobs? I certainly wouldn't. I don't think it's the DoD's problem if someone wishes to have their gender changed. They should learn the world doesn't spin around them and fund it themselves instead of pushing it onto others. I have nothing against trans people but since that doesn't change I'm not signing this ;o |

Every war ever fought in the history of mankind LGBT has been it. What ever term you wish to call them they are by right human beings longing to be part of the whole and if they need an extra push from the government for sacrificing their lives....... who are we to say no when we have politicians taking money to fund their farms even when they have profitable seasons - the billion dollar oil companies take funds (in the billions) but are the most profitable in the world. I rather help someone who will fight for my country then companies who betray it every chance they get. I should know I live in the US......Standing strong along side our LGBT Community before, now and forever... |

In the Canadian military, men and women are separated. If a trans joined, we wouldn't know what group to put them in. It's too controversial to figure out, so it was decided that trans couldn't join. I believe American and English are the same concept as Canadian. |

I'm pretty sure presinus is brainwashed.The military, US military in particular has a budget larger than China, Saudi Arabia, Russia, United Kingdom, India, France, and Japan combined. It is funded in such a way that the US can fight 2-3 wars at the same time. All these thousands of people are being trained and paid to fight foreign wars, against who? Countries that could attack the US? Groups that could attack the US? The US could slash it's military budget in half and still fight off multiple powerful countries trying to attack the US, why does it need such a big military then? It's not about defense, it's about offense, world domination. Islamic terrorism against the west would be much smaller today hadn't the US funded rebelsi n Afghanistan fighting the USSR back in the day, later becoming the Taliban, or invaded Iraq because Saddam, whi was previously backed by the US, didn't do as the US wanted him to anymore, so they lied about him having nukes, then invaded, creating a mess. The US has a habit of supporting authoritarian regimes as long as they act in the interests of the US, if they don't, the US will point it's finger at them and make them an enemy, and the rest of NATO blindly follows. ISIS wouldn't be a thing if the US hadn't tried backing rebels in Syria, because Syria is a close friend of Russia. And then Russia. The Russian border hasn't been as far east since the 1600's, the US isn't satisfied though, they want total control, so the border must be pushed further, the former sphere of influence of Russia is being pushed constantly, the US boxing them in at every opportunity. There could be a peaceful co-existence, on the US's terms. Even then, the US could keep doing this with less military spending, but chooses not to, for many reasons, most notably lobbyists bribing politicians to increase the budget, making the ones supplying weapons richer, and of course, overly-patriotic people who are too proud of the military for whatever reason. |

Actually, presinus, i think i am the single staff member which does the majority of the server based stuff.Im the head of the staff team, i have to manage the staff and i am also given the responsibility to manage the forums too. I also have the ability to access the console which means i have to look for abuse / player issues etc. We're on at different times so we wont really ever encounter each other. luigi recognizes what i do to protect the server. |

It typically consists of an Army, Navy, Air Force, and in certain countries the Marines and Coast Guard. So no, not police, firefighters etc. |

Armz - I think I know what she means...Military's can take charge of Civilian Departments like Police / Fire / Coast Guard ext....In special circumstances.Pres - but to be clear they do not serve the same function as a Military Unit, at least not in the U.S. |

Uh Presinus Trans people do in fact have a gender. It's M to F or F to M. Its not that whole stupid gender fluid thing where you're a boy on Wednesdays and a girl every other day of the week. You still have a gender, you just swapped it. |

Chromosomes and genitals must match during the entire lifetime of the enlistee for them to classify as one gender or the other in military terms. The system is complicated. |

the gender on paper could easily be changed, and after surgeries etc, in some cases you can't tell they used to be another gender, so no problem, no one could get triggered. |

They look at far more than one paper, and they never all state you've been one gender your whole life. They always find out. |
