Actually, ck is in charge of the olympics in my absence. I am just in charge of choosing the faction that hosts. And i am not biased, I choose factions based on their activity and how well they would be able to host. |

So you only like active factions whom are ideal to host, and you only choose the faction you like. That's called bias. |

I made the olympics so that everyone would have fun. If I choose an active faction with a lot of members to host, then a lot of people will be able to collaborate and help to host. In this active faction many people will have fun. But If i choose a tiny inactive faction with like 5 people in it, there will be near to no collaboration and it will turn out so that one person will be doing all the work and no one will have fun hosting. That is why I choose factions that are active. I do not believe this is biased. |

The presidential election has standards, which means it has bias. Bias isn't always a bad thing. As mike said, if you let a faction with 5 people in it host, it won't work out well. He's perfectly fine as it is. Not gonna happen. -1 |

I don't take part in the Olympics, or many community events. (Partially due to inactivity, but also because I like to keep to myself, so as not to cause or get involved in any conflict with other players). However, I believe the community should make these decisions together. Y'all could have a strawpoll, or allow the winning faction of the previous Olympics to do it.Having one person making decisions may annoy or upset some players, due to them feeling left out, or hated. If all factions interested in hosting would be added to a poll, it would help preventing players from feeling this way. Same with the winning faction being the host - in my opinion the fairest way of deciding - players wouldn't feel left out of the decision, or feel as though a single decider is biased against them. As for the whole bias thing. Bias is defined as: inclination or prejudice for or against one person or group, especially in a way considered to be unfair. |

Mike can run the Olympics the way he wants. It's his event, not the server's event. Also, in case anyone didn't get it, the whole bias thing is a joke. I'm just making fun of Alpaca. Obvious -1. (Everyone with common sense knows +2 isn't a thing either, so I'm making fun of the people who at some point said "+2 if that's possible") |
