It's just a game.

To the layman who glances at this server, this is just another server out of the thousands, if not millions, of Minecraft servers that have, do, or will exist. And Minecraft its self is just another game, out of the hundreds of thousands of games that have, do, or will exist. Sure, Minecraft has made a bigger dent in history than most other recent titles, but this to will never be remembered in the thousands of years of history to come. Did you ever hear about that really cool board game all the Egyptians played back in the day? Yeah, neither did I, and Minecraft will assume the same fate. But we are not the layman. You and I have dedicated many hours to this game. Hours that turn to days, days that turn into weeks, weeks that have turned into years. And many of you have chosen to give that time to this server in particular. Out of all the servers across all platforms, you chose this one, and you decided you liked it. I will admit, since joining this server in the beginning of 2014, this server has gone through many changes. Some of those were for the better, and some were for the worse. But I'm still here, like a drug addict who can't get enough I keep coming back. And so have you. Many of you have developed prosperous online relationships that have continued to grow throughout the server life time. This server has been an outlet to you in times of stress. If you needed to get something off your chest you came here. Mushroom Co. has been through many trials and challenges through the years, and it has always come out kicking. So to those who fear the servers soon demise, to tell you to fear not. I know some of you have found out what you find to be disturbing news as far as it comes to donating. I I know its hard not to let you emotions run through you hands to the keyboard when many of you have so tirelessly tired to become a staff member, but this too shall pass. Remember why you play this game, to have fun, to escape. Do not try to shut down the server, why destroy something you love over a temporary issue. In the end who was who, and who did what wont matter, it really won't. When your forty-three lying in bed on a Thursday night you wont't remember the current issues of the server, but you might remember what you say to that one evening when you stayed up all night chatting with your friends on Mushroom Co. So, as I close, I just want us to all remember why we play this low res, blocky game. Its not for the fights, but for the friends.
