Hey.The map reset isnt confirmed yet, we’re just trying to gather some information about it. If you have the time, it’d be appreciated if you could quickly fill out this short form that will help us get some information about it! http://bit.ly/MapResetPoll Feel free to share what you answered with down below if you’d like to share your opinion with everyone else. Thanks! |

Why would we have a reset? Pretty sure it was just another rumor, there's new ones every week xD |

Poll is a bit bias not giving people the option of saying NO to a reset and the reset question seems very in favour of american players only (yankee summer break is roughly mid year where aussie summer break is christmas time and thats only 2 of the many countries that play on this server. Anything other than normal bioms would suck badly as everyone has different tastes in where they like to build, who really wants to take days to travel over 1 desert. |

there is an "other" option, which i filled out. we already had a map reset a few months ago, and i think we should wait until AT LEAST spring of 2018 before resetting again. that's about another 10 months or so.i mean, i just built my house and am working on a pixel art. if there is a reset, please, someone send my a copy of the current world so i can copy my pixel art and house from there without having to memorize it or start from scratch. also, can we keep the same seed, so i can keep the amazing scenery of my new house? thanks. i also want like $2000 |

First off, I think that Amplified would alienate some of our player base, as it requires a mid-to-high end computer to run.Second, we normally reset annually, putting the server due to be reset by September-October, as that is when the map was corrupted, so waiting until Spring 2018 and not resetting at all aren't really options. Third, in response to belg. A vast majority of our player base is either from North America or Europe, so resetting when a majority of our community would be happy is probably the best. Finally, in response to asriel. If we are going to keep the same seed, then it isn't like we reset at all. If we are going to reset, it will most likely contain a new seed. |

if we keep the same seed, players can find where they lived and keep the area they had before the reset. i mean, i found the perfect place for my house, and it would suck to lose it so quickly. keeping the seed but resetting the world is still a reset, as any player built things are removed, but anything natural is kept. |

I agree with Asriel, reset at about 2018.Resets mainly happen because most of the accessable land is taken and a lot of ores at a reasonable amount of blocks from spawn are mined. Resetting the map but allowing people to get their previous houses in it would still be a reset as claimed land and ores and any terraforming done would be back to the original state. |

Ew. -1 to the idea of same seed. I don't want to rebuild stuff, I want to find new places. |

I don't think you can use the same seed in a new version of Minecraft. Mojang changes the world generation algorithms every version. But you can load the world up in 1.11 and play in 1.12 (dumb thing to do imo)Don't quote me on this, I may be wrong |

nic. a new seed would mean i would have to find a new beautiful place for my house. i mean, you've seen my new house, the scenery is perfect, and at least 9000 blocks away from any civilization. |
