The vast majority of the older players know this story, but for any new ones I shall tell it again, briefly.So basically, a few months ago I was getting bored, and my Laptop pooped out, so my faction Wolfwind died out. Its basically nonexistent at this point. That may not seem like a big deal, except Wolfwind at its peak rivaled Proxima in size. And more than doubled it in power, though this was before the 10k border. Our power now would likely be the same as proximas if we survived to this point. Any ways, I fixed my stuff a couple days ago and have returned to the server, not really expecting a warm welcome. But to my surprise, a few people besides my close friends welcomed me back and remembered who I was lol. The intent was to leave it at that, but there were a couple mentions of Wolfwind made to me. Now, I told them that Wolfwind was no longer even under my control and I had neither the intent nor resources to restore it. But a few good friends (you know who you are-thank you.) made it clear to me that some still had some fond memories of Wolfwind. I had been under the impression that after it died, it was just another faction. I am now once again debating on whether or not to attempt to resurrect my long dead faction. So my point for all of you is...just.. share some good times you remember of wolfwind. I was told today that my example of Wolfwind inspired another to create his own faction, and try to grow it big. I had nothing to say to that person at the time (I leave them nameless in case they want it that way. If not they will name themselves.) but now I write this post for them, and the other people who have encouraged me on this matter. I was also given a donation towards rebuilding wolfwind, and a rather hefty one, after my saying that even if I wanted to, I have not the resources to kickstart my faction. I felt kinda bad for accepting it, but I did. I suppose if you have an interest in proclaiming your opinion on this by donating towards reconstruction, I wont stop you. Any materials I gain would be used for the faction, I have nothing else to work towards lol. But yes, share some fond memories and good times etc of Wolfwind, if you have any. I must confess: Im rather curious now. |

off topic, but what is with people and damn wolves? ever since i've started playing any kind of online games, i've seen wolves in people's usernames, clan names, faction names, and skins. i don't understand why wolves are so popular.i think cats are better, and goats are best ;3 |

I remember when I joined this server, your faction was huge! You guys had 167 members! That was the most that i have ever seen in a faction (until chibi). I think that you should make wolfwind again. I miss the old factions. :/Long live the supreme empire of Wolfwind ~mike |

If I am honest the time I spent in WolfWind was one of the best times I had on the server so far, it was a great addition to the server |

i think you should restore WolfWind, you have done it once you can do it again and you do know that people would support you as you rebuild the faction |

i dont think it will be as supported as you think. I annoyed quite a few people xD and the minor faction mods overclaimed, an issue that plagued us to the end. But perhaps. I dont know. If I do it will still be quite some time. I would want considerably more than what I currently possess before taking on a project like that. |

Wolfwind is officially going to attempt a comeback. Currently I am in the process of gathering materials for rebuilding some basic facilities. The old screening process is going to be done away with for the time being, however if anyone by chance wishes to join before the faction becomes active again, just say so now. I will let you in, but keep in mind you might be expected to assist myself and james in reconstruction. |
