Many of you know that I have been thinking about leaving this server becuase I don't like how it's run. Well, that's not why I'm leaving, in fact I like this server and it's community, and have a hard time not playing on it, even though I don't like how the owner runs it.Now, the real reason here is not becuase of anything having to do with the game or server. Unfortunately I will be leaving(likely starting on Friday), becuase I will be moving. Now I don't know for sure, but I am hoping this will only be temporary , but unfortunately there is the possibility that it may not be. The reason why I may leave for good is becuase I am moving to the middle of nowhere and the only internet deals they have there seem to suck :\ I have been shopping for internet for the past week, and so far have had a very hard time finding internet in the middle of nowhere that is any faster than 10mbps. Now, I don't actually know how much Mbps Minecraft takes up, but unfortunately I will not be playing if it is going to be so slow for me that I lag all the time, becuase even though when you are a kid you might be ok with torturing yourself with crappy internet, when you become an adult you tend to become more impatient with technology that is cruddy. Even I was this way: Back in Jr. High i used to go on MySpace on my DS browser for my Nintendo DS, and it took a long time for each page to load, but kept doing it anyway, becuase I was a dumb kid back then who didn't know how valuable my time was. Anyway, this could actually be a good thing for me, in a way, becuase Minecraft has actually distracted my from the work that I have been trying to do for a long time. But when I get stressed out, I tend to play a lot of Minecraft, which is what happened in August when my girlfriend became severely ill. Thankfully she is better now, but once I start playing Minecraft I have a hard time stopping, cuase it can be easy to get addicted to. Anyway, if do end up playing less, I will likely log in every once in a while to update the shop list, and instead of seeing me on Minecraft, you will likely see more of me on YouTube, creating skits, making webcomics, possibly even composing music and eventually releasing albums. If you ever want to find me on the internet, I almost always use the name Xario1, that is my username on YouTube and I also have a Facebook page with the same name. I also have a Snapchat and Instagram, but I hardly ever use those. I also have DeviantArt that I use more than most things. TL;DR version: I will be moving and may or may not return because idk if my internet will be cruddy or not. |
