Abstain. I'd support this, but I don't want the current selection of staff to be able to paint a somewhat clear picture of where I am located in the real world. |

Abstain; alternatively, make staff do their jobs. Checking for alts should honestly be a part of it. Also it can be utterly inaccurate. Could ban other players who share that IP (siblings, friends), or the player being targeted is hiding their ass so that they can't be detected in the first place. Unlikely, but you may be banning innocent players who use that IP which the target is using as a cover-up. |

I do like the idea of having a plugin that checks a iP and shows all accounts on that IP. |

Kerochii, staff cant do that, theyd have to check and compare the ip of thousands or more players to find who it matches, this plugin will be able to to it with one command.Astro i kinda agree but they already know your ip so they already know where you live, sorry bro |

+1 seems like a great idea.According to what the site i have just searched up,IP address can only lead you to the IP's PC regioin/City.Theres nothing to fret about if anyone finds out your IP,not only can it be found easily,it also does no harm(other then maybe some people dont want to get their location found out,but meh).Also,i heard from somewhere else that the ISP will change the IP addresses once in a while.Not sure if thats true though.Also,Kero,the players can use different IP's for coverups,but they can still be account-banned.IP tracking should be done to check who the culprit's alts are,and banning should be done account-side,not IP-side.(On the safe side,do both considering no siblings/relativs are related what-so-ever to prevent alts from popping up again) |

Abstain this could potentoally (dat ENGLASH craftylou2k16 doh)leak players home addresses through hackers who can simply find your account use this and pick out any player they want players could get swatted, robbed ect plus players with alts can simply use an IP scrambler so theoretically if either of these things happen you could be banning someone completely random or potentially be basically robbing someone pretty much if your account were hacked and the hacker used this IP finder AS IN fix yo fawkin idea |

It should be made clear to everyone that:-ALL STAFF CAN ALREADY SEE YOUR IP ADDRESS. THIS PLUGIN WILL NOT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE TO THIS FACT. -YOUR IP ADDRESS DOES NOT SHOW YOUR EXACT LOCATION. ONLY YOUR ISP SHOWS YOUR EXACT LOCATION. NO ONE ON THE SERVER KNOWS YOUR ISP AND NO ONE EVER WILL. Try searching your own ip address on an online ip tracker. It will only say your nation. |

My IP goes to Wales, Cannock Chase, Wolverhampton... and I'm sure many other places... not one of my traces of my own address has actually shown my city. |
