Okay so as you guys know the server has reset and with this, permissions for donors have been taken away such as gamemode, fly, etc. most of the servers players would love it to stay survival however there are a few donors understandably annoyed by this fact, so i think a solution to this would be to have another world where donors can do donor things such as build in creative and have fun, this would also solve some issues that we had in the previous world with some *cough cough* abusive donors using /smite and giving players items etc. if the server limitations are too weak for this to happen i would be more than happy to donate to help make this happen, i also think there should be a vote as to if this server stays survival or not, Make a poll luigi! <3 -Dullah |

Right, I discussed this with luigi and I have some vague idea of the issues that this would pose.>The server runs on shared hosting, which makes upgrading much more difficult. >CPU limitations, difficult to upgrade. >transfering to a new host is a hassle. The server could run fine with 2 worlds, although there may be lag if there are more than 30-35 players online. Basically it's too difficult to upgrade the server hardware and too much hassle to swap hosts. We could just cap the server on 35 players and keep two maps forever, BUT the whole idea of Mushroom Co. Is to introduce as many people to each other as possible and create a large, loving community. Limiting the player cap to 35 would hinder our goal. |
