Turns out, my cat actually broke her leg.It's a pricey surgery to get it fixed, and if we dont do it she may never walk on it again. I am so sorry for you. I know how bad it is when stuff happens to cats. I've grown up with them all my life. When I was little one of my 2 cats got run over and sadly died... I still have the other one who's getting older and older... She's 14 now I think. |

My cats got 3 legs. Chop it straight off if I where you- the operations to remove infection doing do anything. Unless your EXTREMELY lucky. I have proof behind me. This cat can still jump, walk, run and bully little kittens so hes fine. Cats can survive with 3 legs... I feel for you though, I hurt so bad when it happened </3 |

If you are gonna cut the leg off, id recommend that you take EXTREME care of it and not to touch the part on where it was cut because it can get infection there :/ |

Yeah, listen to these guys above me, take a kitchen knife and cut it straight off (remember to have cold water on it and butter so it goes thru the flesh and bones easier)On a serious note: Don't listen to these people, let the vet decide which option is the best. My moms dog got hit by a car and his leg was just hanging from the skin. Muscles and bones ripped apart. I was sure the dog was going to die or bleed out but somehow they managed to fucking save him and his leg and he has no issues at all. He can run, play and wrestle me anytime I visit him, and I show no mercy while wrestling. |

Lucky, my cat had no choice. It was leg off or painful infection for a week til it died painfully.The vet was closed for a week when this happened which is why we had ti pick between the two when it reopened, Which is why Im training to become a herbalist so next time I can stop the infection -.- |
