Ok look. You guys know of my problems, I made a post about it. And we all know I can be an ass sometimes. But dont think Im sticking up for wowman. Believe me, I didnt like wowman. Still dont. He was short-tempered, mean, and generally an unkind person. But at the same time, I see a bit of myself in him. Hes an ass, but hes also a person, going through a lot of crap right now. I dont think we should forgive him. He screwed up a lot, more than i do. But i do think we can forget him. And that would be a kindness. We shouldnt remember him the same way we remember saraku, using him as an example to future players, as a way to scare them, or tell them what happens to bad players. I think it would be a kindness on our part to let him go away peacefully. No more hate, or insults, from him or us. If he must be remembered at all, we should remember him as a leader of an active faction. Nothing more. He may be an ass, but he puts up with a lot. Lets let him go his own way. Let his posts gently fade into oblivion, his buildings slowly degrade, his actions calmly blow away. Ok? Also, this is my official goodbye to him. After i post this, as far as im concerned, he never existed here. So bye, wowman. |

He's a selfish, mean hypocrite. He doesn't deserve anymore of our kindness. I always thought others may have been a bit too harsh on him, but after looking more closely at all the things he's done it all fits together quite clearly now. Even since his last unban he couldn't contain his urge to ruin a new player's experience by repeatedly killing them unprovoked. He'll be remembered for his true colours which were shown when he spammed the forum and in his malicious attitude towards everyone who disagreed with his behaviour. |

I agree with Loki Wowman had shown me that he can be a good person but in a bad situation. To forget wowman is the best course of action. he did not do what he did unprovoked but still he should have not dealt with it the way he did. his uncontrollable temper got the best of him now he suffers from it. but let him learn it is not our place to make his memory one of hate and injustice. he should just be forgotten. |

Thank you helio. Luigi, I apologize, as I do not mean to argue with the server owner, but we have enough hate, etc etc, that has occurred on this server. Why add to it? Why add another bad player to our memories and experiences here? Yes, he was mean. And selfish. If we dont forget him out of kindness towards him, then do it out of kindness to ourselves. People always complain this server has gone down the drain, because of all the bad players. Forgetting one of those players....That would make it more enjoyable. Itll be as if he wasnt here. This could be the start of cleaning up the server, if you will. But regardless of all that, wowman did cause quite a few bad experiences, yes. So why not fix his mistakes and bad intentions, wipe them away. Forgetting wowman is a kindness yes, but it is also a punishment. All he strove for, good and bad, would be gone. Even his faction, which would be given to another faction member, and his name erased from it. So at least try and see if it works...At least try luigi. Let it all go. |

Loki, we can't desensitize ourselves to the horrors wowman has committed ingame and on the forums. To forget and disregard such behaviour would be to accept it and therefore allow it to continue to occur. The best we can do to fix his wrongdoings is to make sure a similar thing never happens again. We must learn from the past in order to safeguard the future, not merely toss it aside like it was nothing. |
