No, it is a nation which is a part of the states of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia.I used Scotland as an analogy to describe how the situation for Sápmi/Samiland is, my homeland, because of its lack of independence from those 4 states. I guess it would be better to compare it to such people as the Kurds in the middle east, since they are also split between 4 states.  |
