This is more of a pole, do you think an ISIS skin is racist? And if you take offense to it, does it actually effect you in any way. Let me also throw in a rhetorical question, would you be offended by a U.S Marine skin? |

i will fight for my rights as a muslim. im honestly super offended that my dear friend percynezz got banned for just wearing a skin that reps his country and a candy necklace. many agreee the ban should be lifted |

I've played on other servers that require you to have a suitable skin, but a lot of players don't realize that the people wearing these skins are either just really immature, knowing it will offend others, or are actually supporters of these groups. Brush it off, because either way it's not worth getting upset about |

The player with the racial skin was kicked 2 times and verbally warned ny by staff to change his skin, after his warnings he was temp banned for 1 hour to give him a short amount of time to reflect on his actions and update his skin to something appropriate. |

The answer to that rethorical question might be: You may wear US Marine skins. Why? Because ISIS-themed skins are skins that repressent terroristic characters in the world. Look what they have done in Paris. As of what I know, is that US Marine corps are fighting for good. ISIS is a misguided group of terrorists blowing innocents up. US Marine's don't do this. Ofcourse, you may wear skins that repressent your country, but as soon there is a bomber vest, the player should immediately change his/her skin in order to maintain peace on the server. This is unacceptable and may be punished with min. 7-days temporary ban from my perspective. |

He had been warned several times, each time changing his skin, to something still inappropriate (a naked woman), then after being verbally warned by staff, had the guts to change it back to a bomber vest, that is not supporting your religion, we accept all religions on this server, he was told to, not like he didn't know.-Blood |

not to go off on religion, but any religion that promotes violence or hatred is a bad religion. not saying this is what islam is. i dont know enough about it. i do know, though, that ISIS and other similar or related groups go against many parts of islam. now i dont have good things to say about the founding of islam, but that doesnt make all true followers bad people.now if youre going off about terrorists being muslims and vice versa... there has been christian terrorism, and plenty of it. the spanish inquisition comes to mind, and i wouldnt call them true christians anyway. some of the workers may have even been brainwashed into thinking so, as with ISIS, but that doesnt mean the people in charge were true ambassadors of the religion they claim to be of. not saying i support islam - i hate it as a religion - but that doesnt mean i hate the followers. hey, once i sold a christmas wreath to a muslim because he know it went to a good cause(the boys and girls brigade, internationally the boys brigade). i dont hate muslims; i hate terrorists that associate with islam, ut not because of associating with islam. i hate them for being terrorists. now we could talk about that most of them are brainwashed, and/or have no life and live in great poverty, and see this as an opportunity, not even realizing the leaders intents. not excusing their actions, but excusing their intentions, partially. a suicide bomber skin is not a religious skin. it has nothing to do with islam. banning somebody for promoting suicidal homicide is NOT bigotry. it is nothing against islam, or any other religion. it is against the essence of evil, regardless of what anyone believes is the force behind that. not that this even matters, but i am a christian. i suppose im saying it to show that being of a certain religion doesnt require hate, and in fact, it requires, in this case love. i could go on a with a lesson of the law and the gospel, but thats irrelevant. what is relevant is that hatred is taught, and is not attached to religion. to my knowledge, even islam doesnt promote hatred, and christianity certainly doesnt. sure, there are small religions that promote hatred, and i suppose even some big ones, but those saying that god hates people for their sexuality is wrong, for multiple reasons: god doesnt hate people, and he doesnt care about sexuality, either, and even if he did, he wouldnt hate us for it. but to bring this back to the point, even if you think something is wrong, you dont have to hate somebody for it. if it harms nobody, then it doesnt matter if it is wrong. even if it would be wrong, you dont have to hate a person for it. now to bring this back to the beginning of this, hating islam is not hating muslims. hating ISIS is not hating islam. hating ISIS is not hating true muslims. the point being that respect is one of the most important things. wearing a suicide bomber skin for a reaction is not just disrespectful, but banning somebody for such is not disrespectful, nor does it make the staff a bigot. terrorism is not a valid religion or cause. having a skin with a turban(or whatever other things any given muslim may atually wear, regardless of stereotypes), for purposes other than an insult is harmless, but thats not my take on what happened. inb4 this kid has no life |

Oh and to answer your question, yes it would be offensive to put on an ISIS skin and against the rules, but not racist. It's perfectly OK to wear a marine skin. |
