Sometime, around this season two years ago, I joined a server. I had just come from a string of other servers where I had griefed and hacked. That was my plan when I first joined that day, so long ago. When I was caught, I did everything in my power to get back on. This server was different, there was a warm feeling every timed I joined. That warmed blocked my from the cold reality I lived in. This is the fourth time I've written my goodbye, and I have been contemplating my leave for quite sometime. I wish I had the words to explain the feeling this server gave me. We know not each other; we are a faceless family. Sure we are a bit dysfunctional, but all families have their ups and downs. This server was the light in the darkness I lived in. I was in my room blocking out the hate on the other side of the door. I stared into the screen to blind myself from reality. I don't think I can ever tell each and everyone of you how much you mean. I never contributed that much to the chat when I joined, but I read each message. I felt like I knew each and everyone of you. But, I don't. I do not know what you wake up to each morning, what feeling you harbor inside, or what you hold dear to your heart. I will continue to read up on the forums when I can, I will laugh and smile at each one of your unique personalities as you respond to various topics. I can no longer bear the burden of remembering every time I join the server. You will all be memories not easily forgotten. I not really sure myself how much the server and its players mean to me. I know that thinking about you all, and the time spent on the server, brings tears to my eyes. I hope you all stop your petty arguing, that I was a part of. People have gone through enough shit, they need to be built up when they can, not torn down. I pray to what ever deity placed me on this world, that you all may conquer what ever gloom you face. May be I can get over whet ever I am facing and rejoin you all. I wish that all land belonging to my faction, Sumilov, is claimed over as safe-zone to serve as some obscure monument of my being. I couldn't agree more. This server gives such a vibe whenever you join. I've never stayed on any server this long in my 6 years of playing. This server is just excellent. But however, its sad that you are leaving.@L3genD Cringey much? -Spyro0104 (Jordzz) |
