The edit function is meant for correcting typos or adding extra information to messages. It's not meant to be used for removing the entire contents of posts. Doing that just creates spam on the forums.For example, I clicked on this topic expecting to read a discussion and possibly give my opinion, but instead I was confronted with nothing but pointless spam. The title of this topic is almost teasing people into clicking on it only for the reader's hopes to be shattered in despair of finding nothing. Not only that, but the loss of information and what could have been leads readers into a maddening curiosity as to what the original content of the topic was. Those three words "Should I try?" are representative of anything we do. Unless we try, we can never achieve. So because the content of this topic was deleted, the implied message you are telling readers is that they should just give up. They should give up attempting to reply to topics, they should give up attempting to contribute to meaningful discussion, because no matter how hard they try, they'll just be confronted with nothingness. Failure. Deletion. And no matter how hard they try, they'll never know the content of this topic. They'll never know what could have been... |

Well, If you knew the whole situation then this would be different... And I couldn't change the title of the topic. There was no point in it and I didn't want it up. its not like I could delete it so theres no real reason its bad... Unless their are more options can you atleast not flip out so much? I mean damn, its not like there are even rules for the damn thing in the first place besides be nice! Also how would this ONE topic change a thing (I'm referring to) "They should give up attempting to reply to topics" Also the main reason I deleted it was because someone made a ban appeal for me and I had no use un this so I wanted it deleted instead of sitting hear with people gainging up and bumping some useless shit... |
