Here's some questions that I don't know the answer to. I'm hoping someone can answer these for me.Do banned players' votes on ban appeals, mod applications, etc. count? Do player votes on moderator applications even count? I see a lot of application with a ton of +1's that are ignored and a few that get accepted with barely any votes. Is there/will there be a way to punish forum accounts? I might add more in the comments as time goes on and more questions come up. Feel free to add your own questions, too! |

Not a staff member so I'm answering based on what I've learned from the forums and in game.Do banned players' votes on ban appeals, mod applications, etc. count? They don't seem to no. Do player votes on moderator applications even count? The player votes are simply the communities way of bringing good applications to Luigi's attention. He can't be on all the time so it helps him know which members are right for the job based on the votes. The ultimate decision is up to the big man himself. Is there/will there be a way to punish forum accounts? I'm sure any forum moderator or Luigi himself can ban forums accounts if they see it fit. The rules here aren't exactly the same as the server rules though I imagine so it's a little harder to get yourself banned here. |

Hello.Banned players votes don't count if the ban is permanent, unless of course you provide evidence of why they shouldn't be staff, (Screenshots of them hacking for exmaple, or abusing, etc), but as a general vote & opinion it isn't counted. If a person has many votes or very few votes it doesn't count for anything, that's just giving that person support & your opinion, the final result is based on in-game attitude, behavior, maturity level, ban history, loyalty, professionalism, helpfulness, activity & so on. As for your last question, the only way to ban people from the forums is deleting their account, which has happened a couple of times. If I remember correctly, Luigi is working on a ban system on the forums, (which I am personally fully against). I hope this helped. |

The only reason your against it is because you know once it's up, people are gonna start trying to get your account banned xD-DC |

No, I'll tell you why I'm against it.If one is banned from the forums, one can not complain if he/she has been griefed, robbed, disrespected, the victim of abuse, etc. |

Wouldn't banning a forum account be used on players that were already permanently banned, such as tylermerg? |

No otherwise they wouldn't have the ability to make a ban appeal. |

What if it was a player who obviously won't get unbanned (again, tylermerg)? |

Ahhaha. I was turning your comment around on you.. you like being offended? NO. Nobody does. So stop it Stojan, you're annoying a lot of players, hence why you're still banned. |
