Main rules (written)1. No griefing. Griefing: Anything from removing, modifying or destroying another persons build. Griefing wilderness is also against the rules, (except survival needs, such as tree cutting, mining, etc, of course). But do not randomly blow up wilderness. Griefing with creepers is also against the rules. Rule 2: No hacking, fly mods, x-ray or any add-on's that will benefit/give advantage to the player using it. Hacking includes anything from flying, to xray, to autobreakers or autoplacers, chestfinders, autofinders, etc. X-ray texture packs are also against the rules. Rule 3: Be nice to other players. Be respectful towards other players; Do not insult or harass another player, do not discriminate people for their age, religion, sexuality, gender, race or any other reason. Be respectful and nice towards players at all times and under any circumstances. There is no excuse for being disrespectful, if another player is disrespectful to you do not sink down to their level, simply report it in the complaints section of the forums. Rule 4: Do not be abusive. Do not abuse your powers, (meaning: Do not use your powers, (commands or abilities), to benefit you or other players in an unfair way, or in a negative way. To be more clear I have put a few examples below: -Teleportation abuse: /Tping to another player without consent, (without asking them) can be classed as abuse if that player doesn't wish for you to be there. /Tping to another player to kill, grief or harass them is also a massive way of abusing. -Kick abuse: Do not /kick people without a good motive, (this is more of a donator/staff command). Do not kick people from the server as a joke or for any reason that is unjustified or not against the rules. -/Me abuse: Do not use /me to advertise, do not use /me to talk all of the time. /me is used to express how your player is currently feeling or which action he/she is doing and should not be used in any other way. There are ways to abuse pretty much any command you own. 5. Do not ask for any ranks other than citizen. Do not ask for op, do not ask for admin, do not ask for moderator, trial mod, helper, donator+, donator, vip, vip+, builder or member. You may ask for citizen when you have read all of the rules. Rule 6: Do not ask for free items or creative mode: -Donators and staff cannot give you free items, and if they do you can both be punished severely. -You cannot beg for items, gamemode or any extra command(s), it's against the rules. Rule 7: Do not give away spawned in items. -Donators can spawn in items, (with the exception of both VIP ranks), but they are not allowed to give any away, but if for any reason this rule is breached by a donator you are not allowed to pass the items on to anyone, you must destroy them or give them to a staff member, if you don't then you will be punished. Rule 8: No spamming. Do not repeat the same message over 2 times in the space of a minute.. Do not use all caps This is spam. Rule 9: No excessive killing/No murderous slaughter of players. You may not kill someone more than twice during PvP unless they continue attacking you or they are trespassing. Rule 10: No excessive swearing. Swearing is perfectly allowed, but on a certain scale and depending on how many people on the server agree with it. Excessive- More than what's acceptable. If one person see's the swearing as too much then it's breaching that rule and you must stop. Rule 11: Do not advertise other servers. Do not say other server names, Ip's, etc. This includes posting links to ips, posting links to other servers forums, etc. Rule 12: Only donators can have flashy/coloured nicknames. This isn't a massive rule, nor should it be on the rules board but I'm obliged to include it as that is the official R12. Rule 13: Replant trees. After you knock down a tree, replant the sapling so it is easy for new players to find materials. This can be punishable in long jail times. Rule 14: Username changing is forbidden. Just to explain this matter, username changing is not against the rules, you are in title to do that, but if you do you lose all your money, items, faction, etc. You keep your rank, but that's all you keep. Staff will not give you money, items, or your faction back. That's the consequence of a name change. Underlying rules. 1. Be respectful Explained previously 2. Be ethical 3. Use common sense. Use common sense, just because a rule isn't written down doesn't mean it's non existant. PVP RULES: 1. Outside of the arena: -No excessive killing -If it was a legit kill, you are in titled to take the items for yourself. -Pots, gapples, enchants, etc, are allowed. 2. Inside arena: -No potions unless agreed too. -Item returns obliged unless agreed otherwise. -No gapples unless agreed to. -No flying -No pvplogging I hope this helped. Ok, I think it is great you put time into this but please don't broadcast it every minute or so, just put it in the chat if a NEW player joins.Otherwise it is pointless as everyone who is citizen or higher should know the rules. |

ADD: Trespassing is also against underlying rule 3, (use common sense). If someone refuses to leave your property you can remove them by any means. |
