It goes without saying we have some brilliant staff teams, but some need demoting.

The first question obviously would be, do we need new staff?


Then, who do we demote?

This is my opinion, and my opinion only, do not be offended or start an argument over my opinion otherwise you will be kicked from the group instantly.



TO DEMOTE:

-Penquinator:

Inactive, somewhat abusive, rumours that she has quit, etc etc.


-DCThanatos.

He's extremely inactive, he even said himself he cant get on, it will not affect him or anyone else as he's even considering resigning.



-Blueroon.

I voted for BlueRoon and CHEESEBOT.

BlueRoon:
I think his power has gotten to his head and he thinks that he can do pretty much anything and get away with it, because he has in the past. He is a good staff member when he has a clear mind and doesn't jump to conclusions to then perform punishments that are unjust. In some cases, he has created his own rules to get his own way. For him to be a good staff member, "the old BlueRoon", he should be shown that he isn't the boss and demoted to temp-mod or Donator+. Once he has shown that he is good again he may be promoted to Mod. Of not, stay as donator+.


CHEESEBOT:
Incredibly inactive and I have heard that "yeah CHEESE/Eddie was extremely lucky to get admin. It was just very good timing". I heard this while in a Skype call with various long-time players and staff. I think no matter how helpful staff members have been in the past, does not excuse their inactivity, CHEESE is rarely online and months at a time he is not seen.

I did not vote for Penquinator and/or DCThanatos because:

DCThanatos - he will be demoted when he does In fact resign. No need for voting for him to be demoted if it is likely he will be demoted anyway.

Penquinator - penq is a good moderator when she is online. you will know when penq has quit because she will not be online for very long periods of time, logging on briefly and barely talking, or saying that she is bored, and then logs off. At the moment, the rumour that penq has quit is just that, a rumour.

You are very right to say that no matter how helpful a staff member has been throughout the months/years, it doesn't excuse their inactivity. I couldn't have worded it better myself.

Cheese has been offline for 9 days. (Unacceptable).

I voted for Cheese and BlueRoon. Thanks Chip you also have saved me a lot of typing lol. I am just saying a little bit more about BlueRoon, ok so whenever I give power blueroon just kept removing the power I gave them which is telling me that I am not allowed to give power.. Also it like he made his own Rule on who can give power and who cannot. So yeah that another reason why I voted for BlueRoon and Cheese is pretty much explainable as everyone else stated.

Here's who I voted for.

-CHEESEBOT He is very inactive. He is also unresponsive.

-DCThanatos Although he is helpful when he gets online, he is inactive.

Who I did not vote for and why.

-BlueRoon He is very active and is a great help. Heck, I'm surprised he's still here after all the complaints about him.

-Penquinator She'll come back. She is a bit inactive but other than that she's alright.

@BeetleJuice, unfortunately I cannot add more people to the polls, but the idea is to do it in parts, and at the end decide who is more deserving to be demoted. (pick of 3)

I've invited the main factions because they hold the most loyal players, the most active, long term players, etc. I don't want some newbie coming here and making decisions when he or she hasn't been round long enough.

The only time my actions can be seen by abuse is by either misunderstanding a joke, disagreeing with my punishments or not understanding a situation fully.

You can easily tell when I'm quitting or taking a break as Chip said, I will most likely always come back after a small break. I do come on while on said break for a few seconds just to check if anything's up.

My activity has decreased recently due to real life family situations and the fact I can't even log onto my minecraft account at the moment. My account has been, buggy.


Then I have W.E and studies. My activity will obviously reduce in the on coming weeks but this does not mean I will quit.

Now the situation with Faster, I think she is a great mod. WHEN she is online she is a good help. However I really don't agree with her potentially being promoted to head mod. As I think most have stated Lerz is a much better candidate for that role. However I do think that Head-Mod is rather pointless as it gets a very small benefit of commands. It's almost just a fancy mod rank.

My honest opinion is that Luigi should see what people would want to happen. His players are the reason the server is so successful therefore I think he should make a poll and promote the leading moderator if there is to be a promotion. I personally think that polls are the best way to sort things out and make decisions. No arguments, just statistics and easy answers.
