I use "Romaq" as my Internet name, the name I choose for myself. Any search for "Romaq" in English most likely points to the "real me". That name is tied to "William (Andy) Smith", the name I use to sign legal documents and pay checks.An opinion is just an opinion, not necessarily valid without supporting, objective evidence or expertise in the topic. For an intellectually honest debate tactic, you may only present either or both of two arguments: 1) my facts are wrong, and/ or 2) my logic is wrong. Any other means of intellectual debate is likely dishonest. Even if presented as "an opinion", such an "opinion" can still be dishonest, and still be "invalid". For a list of intellectually dishonest debate tactics, consider reading through http://www.johntreed.com/debate.html If someone is using intellectually dishonest debate tactics with me, I will call them on it. Saying the magic words "in my opinion" will not change this. Your best bet is to simply be honest in your debate. If you feel I am not being intellectually honest with you, call me on it.
