Hello. I've been on faction servers for the last 4 years & I am very familiar with the plugin, however during this period I have learned that some are not so familiar with it, so I thought I'd teach you guys a bit. Even if you are familiar with the plugin, you may learn a thing or to here, (hopefully :)[b][/ Getting Started... b]You always have two choices on Webbcraft. -Make a faction of your own. -Join a faction. (People are always willing to let you in their faction) To join a faction, simply do /f join "faction" and you'll be a part of the faction. However, some factions require an invite, but some are open. Making your own faction... To make a faction, simply do /f create "Faction name of your choice", the faction name can be no more than 10 chars and no less than one. You cannot add symbols, only letters/numbers. Faction descriptions... Each faction has a description: Simply do /f desc "description" Describe your faction, if your survival experts for example, "We are a survival faction, ruthless hunters" Anything you want! Getting members... You can invite anyone you want to your faction by doing /f inv "person". You can make your faction an open faction by doing /f open, which means anyone can join it. You can disable this by doing /f open twice. You can remove members from your faction by doing /f kick "person" Faction ranks & titles. There are 3 ranks in a faction: -Members: No permissions, only /f home, cannot destroy in claimed areas, cannot claim or un-claim land. -Moderators: Can invite players, kick players, claim and un-claim land, break/build in claimed areas. -Admin: There can only be 1 admin in a faction : You! The founder. This person has all of the permissions. Promote people in your faction by doing /f mod "player", hand over your rights by doing /f admin "player" You can make up your own ranks, (without permissions), by doing /f title "player" "Anything you want". For example. /f title wowman2002 co-owner. Claiming land and un-claiming land. Claim a 10x10 area by doing /f unclaim, & it will claim the spot your standing in. Stand in the spot you wish to un-claim and do /f unclaim to unclaim your spot. Do /f unclaimall to unclaim ALL of your factions land. Do /f autoclaim to claim wherever you go. For each member in your faction you get 10 power- Do not abuse it though, do not overclaim people. Claiming is when you claim personal land for your faction, and only faction moderators & admin can edit that area. Do /f map to see claimed land by your faction and all other factions in a nearby area. Faction homes. The faction admin can do /f sethome in a claimed area to set that as the factions base. All faction members can go there using /f home. Allies & Enemies. Do /f ally "faction" to request an alliance. An alliance means you are in a "team", you will not be able to kill one and other, you will work with them, etc. Do /f enemy "faction" to enemy a faction. You can then attack them In their land. If they are your enemy they will try & kill you, you cannot trust them. They are not friendlies. Faction chats. Do /f chat p to talk in public mode. *Everyone can see what you write. (Unless they ignored you :P) Do /f chat a to talk in alliance mode. *Only allies can see what you write. Do /f chat f to talk in faction mode. *Only faction members can see what you write. /F who Do /f who to see a list of your faction members, allies, enemies, power, etc. Closing factions Do /f disband to delete your faction permanently. & that's pretty much it! I hope you guys learnt a couple of thinks & I hope this helped you out. |
