As you most likely already know, on the new map donators do not have their perms back. I want to know a definitive date when we will get our perms back and what perms we will no longer get.I'm posting this because I have heard rumors of donators not getting perms back at all or not getting perms such as /gamemode, /tp, and /fly. I'm not sure whether I can believe those rumors but I just want to put them to rest. |

pretty much the same. i kinda like this survival thing, now i can do mah creative stuff on old map, and survival on new map. but this will only last for as long as the old map is around which i hope will be awhile :(yet i would like creative back for my new f home, as itll be weeks before i have the necessary materials. luigi if u can clarify thatll be awesom! to be fair after i build f home ill probs keep new world as mostly survival, includiing pvp gear etc. i think ill only use creative for faction things, eg application building, f home, etc. |

I personally only use creative for building/redstone. Otherwise I get all my PvP gear and shop stocks in survival. |

I'm currently working on something in Creative Mode on the old map. I doubt it'll take more than a few weeks, and once it's done I'll be finished with it for good. But I'd like to know that the map's not gonna disappear or anything in the meantime. Can this be confirmed please? |

So the map will be removed, that means us Donator+'s either lose creative mode, tp, and fly or get it back eventually. |

Sooo... the thing that I was going to do in "creative" mode on the old map, I've abandoned. I'm going to do it on the new map instead. I'm really, really, really looking forward to getting it properly started.But I can't do that without "creative" mode... which is kinda ironic considering my previous complaints about overpowered donator perks! I thought I'd embrace the whole "creative" ideology and, rather than creating another big house or something, just build something super-awesome for the server. I have the plans, I have the space mapped out, I have the plots marked and faction-protected... but I don't have "creative" mode yet. I really want to get this baby started, and I don't really want to do anything else before I can sort it out. What this comes down to is that I really need to know how long it's going to be. Are we talking days? Weeks? Months? 'Cause if it's that long, I might as well start working on something else in Survival mode. (I'm not going to do the thing I've got planned in Survival mode, just the resource-gathering alone will take weeks.) |

Penq - What's "GM1"? I'm talking about "creative mode". Same thing?Stojan - you're right! Let's just say that finally giving in after a couple of months of work on my house on the old map and using "creative mode" to finish the last quarter of it - which took less than three days - makes me think I can do more if I just abandon the whole "resource gathering" thing. The trouble with that is that you can never be sure how long the map will last. Finally getting my house finished - and then learning a new map has been created and everyone's abandoning the old map literally two days later - was a bit of a shock to the system. My situation is this: 1) I have time to work on a big build right now. 2) I have a build planned. If it ever gets done, it will benefit the server. It's something I've always wanted to do on a server, but have never been able to. I have the location mapped out, as well as the logistics of the build itself. 3) I'm not going to be able to mine out the materials that I need for it (not without months of work, anyway). Right now I'm - pardon my expression - pissing in the wind here. I don't have a clue what to do. I can't start my build without "creative mode". I'm absolutely not going to be able to get it done without that. My MC experience over the past week or so has been something like this: I've been coming online, asking for news, chatting a bit, mining a bit, and then going offline. Basically getting nothing done. What I want to do here is, as far as I know, pretty much unique. I think similar things have been done before, but not based on the principle that I've come up with. This is something that a lot of people will take part in and enjoy. It's something I've had in mind basically since I started playing MC years ago, but have never had the opportunity to do. So please, anybody, let me know when, if ever, we're going to get "creative mode" back! Because if not, I might as well go onto a proper "creative" server with a new map. That's not something I want to do 'cause I like the community here (the occasional bit of creepy sex talk aside!) and I think it'd be a good "fit" for what I'm planning. I think there'd be a lot of people who might enjoy it. I can't keep sitting around and pissing in the wind here. All you get is urine on your face. And honestly I'm getting a bit sick of that. |
