Why were you banned? "Holding back information, and sliding with griefers/hackers"

When were you banned? 08/05/15

i dont feel like my ban was unjust, as such. i just believe i should be granted a second chance. i was not "sliding with hackers". i was, yes holding back information as i felt if i told Armz that it was infact KGEvans that was hacking the pickaxes into the game, that he would treat me as a traitor to his trust of friendship that we had built up over many time. i did not apply for a ban appeal immediately because i have had other things (if im honest) to do. i decided to appeal as i was under the impression that my ban would have only been 2-3 days as i did not actually break any rules. i just cannot bear to see that when i try to log onto the server to greet friends, that i am still banned.

I've seen Chip on before and he was trying to be as helpful as possible. From what I understand he didn't want to hurt KGEvans' feelings, which I see as something a good person would do. He shouldn't be banned for this: whoever banned him is wrong. Definitely deserves to be unbanned.

You were banned for assisting KGEvans in handing out op tools, armour, etc, which is total abuse and unacceptable behaviour.

I am not sure if you griefed to, but I am pretty sure some moderator told me that you had griefed. Your behaviour was unacceptable, and you clearly chose KGEvans, a huge traitor, over the servers well-being. Just because you weren't made a traitor in his eyes, makes you one in our eyes. You assisted a griefer and a hacker, its like Saraku and ScribbleSaur.

hate to tell you wowman. but you are dead straight. wrong.
i did not in any way assist evans by handing out tools. he gave me tools which i then destroyed immediately. i did not grief at all. the only thing i did wrong was was not notify Armz who it was which later lead to my ban from him. i have a screenshot of a private conversation between me and evans and him telling me he would "grief the shit out of this server". i did neither assist or notify anyone during this eventful time. i just kept myself to myself.

Conspiracy is breaking all the three underlying rules (mainly 'be ethical'). Armz was right to ban you, as by withholding information that could have prevented grief and allowing it to occur is as bad as doing it yourself, so therefore counts as griefing too. (maybe not equally as bad, but pretty close).

Hardly enough time has passed for you to reflect on your attitude, be remorseful and feel guilty about how you could have prevented the griefing. If your loyalty still lies in being a griefer's accomplice or confider, how do we know that you're not just trying to get unbanned so you can continue what KGEvans started?

first i would like to respond to you luigi.
yes i have said in my statement that the ban was not unjust (unfair).

i do in fact feel remorseful for KGEvans' actions towards the server, i wish to not carry out what Evans started because i have no reason what-so-ever to do it. i logged on and saw the commotion and then *pop*, pm from Evans explaining what was going on and why. from then i actually said in pm to him "are you sure you want to do this?" and he simply replied with what i have stated above. Luigi, if you can notify me of ANY problem you or ANY other staff member has had with me in the past, i would be more then suprised to see this as i have never had any reason to retaliate to the server's well-being.

Wowman is saying only what luigi is. Wowman dosnt have to right an SA with no minute detail missing (No offence luigi) to get to the point that you betrayed the server and that we cant trust you.

He doesn't deserve perm ban for sliding with low-lifes but he should not get away with it. Kind of like the crook "Tipping" the bank guard, i n the end they both get screwed. He should get a temp-BANANABAN to leave an impression

I honestly think Chip should be un-banned. I know him and have been playing with him from other servers and I can tell you that he is a great addition. Constantly helpfull and never breaks rules. A perm ban for not breaking any rules directly is harsh.

I advise luigi you re-think this ban appeal and give him a chance, he is definitely a good community member despite what has been said in this fourm.

Also to conduct what you said Luigi, I can vouch personally that Chip will not grief nor repeat any of KG's actions, I'd even put my rank on the line in the fact that Chip is a good member and shall'nt break rules. Not mentioning names but some people have had 000's of chances and are still not banned, yet still with just one chance chip is banned perm.

I do not usually comment on fourms with such length as this, I suppose that expresses the strength of feeling I have for Chip being unbanned. Really, he is a great player to have in our community.

Just to add, if I was in the position of Chip, I would've done the same.

It seemed to me, by the looks of the conversation we had, and my general feeling about that whole ordeal, that Chip did not seem that interested in playing anymore.

But I'll unban him, he has served his time, and if he does something , I will just ban him again.

I would've not said anything about KG planning to grief, I don't plan to "snitch" on my fellow staff or ex-staff members.

Quoting two of your admins luigi "It's easily rolled back" I suspect that isn't a problem.

Sure, it may be easily rolled back, but that doesn't make griefing acceptable, esspecially from staff members. I'll have you know that griefing wasn't the only thing Evans had on his agenda. Without luck, and if he wasn't stopped in such a short time, it could have gotten much worse.
