What the title says, there are many reasons so I'm not going to state the reasons why. It is easy to implement anyways not to mention that the functionality is already there as you can change your email and password. |

*1you could have it be approved by staff, or you can implement a tagging system alongside it, that tracks by user id instead of username, and changes all previous posts accordingly similar to how twitter and discord does their stuff with old tagging/mentioning |
