Username: 03192002Reason Banned: 'Griefing 1000 Blocks of Tyler's Wall' Date Banned: February 22nd, 2015 Today, TYLERJARJAR built a wall in our faction territory without permission. This wall prevented us from expanding, so we took a vote, and everyone wanted it destroyed. I took the job of destroying it. After destroying it, we kicked TYLERJARJAR from our faction in case he might be angry and destroy something. TYLERJARJAR later built a new faction right next to ours, and I asked him kindly to move. When he didn't, I asked the staff. He defended himself saying that, 'I griefed his wall,' even though it was built on our territory without permission. I understand why someone may think I griefed, but it was on my factions territory, built without permission, and everyone wanted it removed. I believe building on others territory without permission is griefing as well, so really all I was doing was removing a grief. BlueRoon then banned me for griefing. I would like to be unbanned as I believe I was unfairly banned, and I was enjoying the server with a few of my friends. ***Admin*** Note: username was changed by request on 2025-11-07 for profile including associated forum posts and LoL account. Refer to profile page. Minecraft username which was previously the same as the original username was updated to be current minecraft username "03192002" as per the UUID. |

This is true. I am the leader of the faction involved, CoN. I had in fact given Tyler permission to build the wall, but subsequently told him to get rid of it, and he refused, saying the wall was already almost done. After Tyler had left, we took a vote and agreed that it was for the best to destroy the wall, as we had kicked him from the faction due to general annoyances, such as starting small fires. We agreed to take down the wall because it was a build from a player no longer in our faction, and it prevented us from expanding our territory. I created this faction yesterday, intending to play on it with my friends. However, if one of my friends is unfairly banned, I, as the faction leader, take full responsibility for what happened. I hope that you read jgarna's appeal and seriously think about this unfortunate event. I hope that my friends and I may continue to have a great experience on this server, and I will not hold grudges on the staff. |

One more thing I have to add. I think a tempban would be more appropriate for this situation, as there are clear arguements for both sides, as opposed to flat-out destroying someone else's things for no reason. I hope the staff takes this situation seriously and judges this situation in an unbiased way. |

The owner of the territory, Wally, authorized me to remove TYLERJARJAR's stuff from it. |

If this is griefing, I did not know, and I am sorry and I will not do it again. I was simply trying to help the faction, and I thought I was fine because I was authorized by the owner of the territory. |

This is just a case of one member abusing the fact staff can't be everywhere at all times. I try doing /f map, /f who, /co i and /seen to try and get the most accurate picture of a grief as possible but it's easy to be tricked by people if the situation allows the innocent to look guilty |
