Moderator resigns
Long-time server Moderator maca29 has resigned from his position until further notice. He said that he was too preoccupied with his busy life to play on the server.
There has been talk of him returning to the server after his business blows over.
Good luck Maca!

An Interview
Recently, we asked the wonderful team of Mushroom Co. Weekly News a few questions to see their approach to making news.

Q1: What was the inspiration to create McW?
It was a random thought by Fatman one day while thinking of a build idea to pass the time. After learning there was genuine interest, Fatman decided to make it a full time thing.

Q2 (Directed to Luva): How much of the stuff we see every week is actually written/edited by you?

Personal life comes before the paper first and foremost. The editorial team, just like any other department, isn't required to actually be editing on a weekly basis. There are other "unofficial" members of the team who can do editing work, and have on previous issues.

Q3: What is the closest the team has come to disbanding?
The team has never come close to disbanding. This is a hobby for us more than anything else. Team members have no deadlines or time frames in which they are required to submit content. Due to these lax conditions, we've never had any sort of internal issues.

Q4: What is the best story you've ever covered?
The exclusive Olympics segment that was in the paper earlier this year is the favourite of the Mushroom Co. News Weekly Team.

The team was also asked what they'd like to say to our readers.
They refused to comment.

Minigame Spotlight #2
This week we're talking about...
Deal or No Deal!
Deal or No Deal is a strategy game based on the popular television show of the same name.
At the start of the game, there is a lineup of 26 cases, all filled with points ranging from 1 point to 10,000 points, from which you choose one.
Every round, you eliminate a smaller and smaller amount of cases until you're either left with your case, or accept the Banker's offer.
Each time you eliminate a case, the amount inside is revealed. At the end of each round, the Banker offers an amount of points they would like to buy your case for. You can either accept the offer or decline.

The game is a great way to earn points, and it's also pretty fun to ponder the Banker's offer.
