Let's say you are in a democracy, and every idea is voted upon, and no matter what the law is, it will be made legal or illegal based on majority vote.
Do you think you (and all other voters) should have a certain level of education on the topic of which you are voting on in order to be permitted to vote upon the topic?

No. It's a great idea in theory, but it's easy to abuse, because the ruling group could just remove the education on that subject. Even better, they could just change the meaning of having the education, e.g. "only company managers are allowed to vote on economics" which would lead to corporatism. |

This would lead to the people with lower income and worse education to have less of a say in society.
I'd rather have a system where politicians themselves are the ones who should have a good education on the things they are working towards, somewhat like a technocracy |
