Suggestion: Put taxes on a timer and make it percent-based at a flat rate.Reason: People would be discouraged from leaving the server for extended periods of time, and they'd spend money rather than hoarding it, which is an economy's equivalent to cancer. |

-there is nothing to spend money on. -people see money as a score that they can increase through playing the game. -taxing people would make people who spend time running the big server shops less interested in doing so, which would further ruin the economy. |

-1Chip would be more efficient with taxing. But for real, this idea could be implemented, but the tax is too fucking high. Ranthar would start with $201,454, and end with $185,337, EVERY taxing period. At least decrease it down to 4% or something. |

+1 we should actually inforce taxes or just remove the plugin. And ingore ranthar, he is too obsessed with being the richest person on the server. he was so angry when vote token deal or no deal came out because it would be unfair if someone stole his spot as richest person. poor little bitch. Ranthar is the reason why the economy is fucked. People keep large amounts of money and don’t let the money flow, like it should. The only downside i see to enforcing taxes is that it could cause loss of new players because every time they see the tax message they freak out until someone explains that taxes are not enforced and barely exist. |

remove the whole economy. Keep the server survival based with maybe one non-vanilla element. Replace this redundant non vanilla element with something cooler |

The tax message already turns players around, so there would be no added burden there. What I'm saying is the tax should be taken by a timer, not a person, and there would be no command like /tax pay, nor a message telling players to pay their taxes (as it would be taken automatically). |

-1 As Ranthar said people use money as a score. Whoever has the most money is basically at the top of the server like on any other faction server. It is more competetive that way and it makes the server more enjoyable. |

This is a community server that happens to have factions plugin, not a faction server that happens to have a community.Communities work together, not compete against eachother. |
