Nerf_AssassinGrief Unsure of the date. I rarely get on and keep to myself in my own fac/base, barely with enough power to claim the entirety. Because I rarely get on, it's to my surprise that I have been banned for grief of all things? The only thing I can think of is that below my base, I wanted to use TNT to clear out the underground for a downstairs, and it didn't work. I asked why it didn't and was told that in claimed areas TNT doesn't work. Then, I was accused of being a griefer when I was just trying to clear out MY OWN BASE'S underground. This is really unfair and I want unbanned or a more indepth explanation for the banning. I get that I don't go on often, but that's no reason to ban someone. |

Grief is a grief. The fact that it is an old grief makes it no less severe than a recent one. You griefed /warp buildplat on several occasions. Logs show that you visited the place several times to "harvest" the resources used there. You did over 1000 blocks of damage, which is way over the permaban treshold. It is worth noting that 399 of griefed blocks were iron blocks, mainly components of beacon pyramids used at that warp.The nature of /warp buildplat means that anyone can build there, enjoy the area and interact with other people there. it was a nice community while it lasted (which was for some time). It being abandoned, no longer used makes it part of history, our server history. "Harvesting" that area because it is unused is treated the same as any other grief would be, even though me personally consider it really a low move. Imagine griefing something as old and as iconic as /warp buildplat just because it is no longer used. The fact it is no longer used just makes it more valuable. It is an important part of this maps mush co history and that is why I came to check up on it. You were not the only one banned when I checked up on it. /warp buildplat was targeted by several player, all of which got their punishments. The fact that it took some time for it to be discovered and acted upon changes nothing. You do the crime, you do the time. |

I see, you're right. I totally understand and I'm sorry for having done that. I forgot about having done that, otherwise I wouldn't have made a big deal about that in the forums. If you want to reharvest any materials, my base was around the area of another big faction. I know that doesn't help, but I can't quite remember the faction's name. I'll add it here if I think about it. Otherwise, if mods are able to find my base, it should be easy to claim over. Again, super sorry and I really hope the server flourishes with less griefers like myself. |
