Recently, I have been working on making a mob grinder to use for my faction. I have been working on getting one skeleton spawner and one blaze spawner. The main issue i am having is that most if not all of the nether spawners I have come across have been claimed by Rivendell (Or by the leader Belgnbor).I am fine with people owning and claiming spawners (as long as they use them), but what irritates me is that even though the faction of Rivendell has multiple spawners, they use none of them. They claim them so that others cannot use them. Nether fortresses are not common for people who do not have /fly which makes it even more irritating . I have links to screenshots of the spawners I have come across. Rivendell even owns some of the spawners around my F Home, I even had to get belg over to unclaim a chunk that was blocking me from building farms. One suggestion would to put in place a rule that would stop people from claiming spawners/land/natural structures when they have no intent to use them. In a nutshell: -Rivendell has been claiming (almost) all the spawners while not using them -I would like a rule put in place to stop people claiming mob grinders/natural structures and not using them.     -Dubz |

Luigi already stated that chunks are not to be claimed solely for the purpose of preventing others from using it.My thinking: many new players think you can pick up spawners using silk touch on a pickaxe, and they end up deleting the spawner. That makes 1 less of an extremely limited block in the world. I think Bel is aware of these facts, and simply wishes to prevent players from breaking them. Either way, it seems Bel is always more than happy to unclaim the chunks if you ask politely. |

Wow didn't expect this from you Dubz, I don't claim em all, I've cleared them, I've found them, just like any other player, I hope to use them, sometimes it just takes time to put them into use, when I get some vote tokens I want to move some of them. I hope to build a blaze farm and wither hunting area, just have a list of other things to do first but if I don't claim them now they will be gone by another faction who also may not put them into immediate use. I have sold some, I have given away some to other players. Many factions own multiple spawners. There are many other fortresses in the nether. You already asked to swap a spider spawner which I was happy to do, However this fortress I hope to use in the not to distant future. As far as I know I only have 1 skelly, 1 zombie (both in use) 2 blaze and a heap of spider spawners. I have lost track of the blaze ones so I could be wrong as I am usually getting bombarded by bad things at fortresses. If u had of found another one that I owned, I most likely would of let it go but the one you wanted I had plans for as its a good fortress. |

Here is a picture of the map near my portal and of nether fortresses around it.  Each waypoint is a blaze spawner I found. Surprise surprise they are claimed by rivindell. Even the one titled "Deltaforce" (me) has a Rivendell claim mere blocks away from it, making it diffucult to make a base around. |

Sorry to break your hopes and dreams dubs, but if Rivendell claimed it, then they claimed it. It’s their private property now and you can’t do anything about it, whether or not they put their property to use. |
