If I were welcomed like that, I probably would have left.The thing that kept me around was Mr. Musketeer and C.K.Voss being so warm and guiding me through how everything works and giving me tools and a home so I had a good, happy start. |

Luigi maybe he left because he joined and saw that spawn was a fucking wooden box with cobblestone walls as rules. No realistic person is leaving the server they just spent time finding the IP for because someone called them a "bitch". |

Karbs, a lot of people don't like being insulted and called names. There are a lot of other servers out there to choose from. One of the core expectations players have is a friendly community, so expecting them to put up with rudeness like that is unreasonable. It's also against the rules.If people leave because they don't like the spawn, I don't care because I'd rather have players on the server that appreciate the simplicity of the spawn and want to be a humble participant in the community and the town, not someone who is arrogant and likes to criticize other players' builds. There is no rule that says "you must build to a high quality standard". This is a survival mode server, so having the spawn built in survival mode reflects that even staff play in survival mode and we don't cheat, so there is the feel of a more legitimate survival multiplayer experience. |
