I believe that players (maybe member and up?) should have access to /ptime. /ptime is the command that allows players to change their own time, without affecting others. This way, chat will be less flooded with "can we have day?" "anyone oppose day" and etc. Pretty cool idea eh? |

Let's say you want day so you can build without mobs harassing you (rather than wanting day just for the added light), you change your own time, but not the server time, mobs will still spawn. |

Yeah, but it still helps being able to see in general. Mobs shouldn't affect it drastically, they still spawn in day (example being Viale's mansion, skeles and spiders still spawn inside the house in pure daylight) |

Mobs still spawn in my mansion because it's dark. The roof creates an overcast which then lowers the light level to under 7, so mobs are able to spawn. It's not because mobs spawn naturally in the day, it's because the shadow of something allows mobs to spawn in that specific area. |
