Username: Karbs (Or in any other server timbs_) Why were you banned: I had a client and turned kill aura on when I went AFK by accident When were you banned: 15 minutes ago maybe Hello. Most of you know me by now as Karbs. Let me explain my situation. I downloaded a client mainly to use fullbright and a tool called Free Cam (Helps with building). Now I actually promise I only used these two but the client came with much more. It also had key binds already as a default option, and R was kill aura. Somehow I pressed R while I went AFK to get a snack, and CK caught me in the act. I know this is hard to believe but I had no reason to use kill aura in the area I was in. I was surrounded in a dirt capsule and was afk. I know clients are illegal but I thought it would be harmless just to use it for small features like I was, and I was wrong for assuming this. I never xrayed though, or flied, or cheated like that. I am truly sorry for my actions, and I truly do like the community on here. If I do get back on the server I will never use my client again because I now see the damage it can cause. I feel like I've been a generally positive person in the community and hope I can return. -1I don't believe that you accidentally pressed it, im sure you knew what you were doing. If you would have said "yeah i hacked and im sorry and wont do it again" I would have gladly +1'd But I do think you are lying, and being dishonest is not a way to get unbanned imo |

Minoi, I would have had no reason to press it since I was in a space free from mobs, Protected inside a dirt capsule. I legit went to go get a snack for a couple of minutes and Pressed R by accident when I got up. There was literally nothing I could do with my killaura in my area I was in. My PvP was disabled too I am pretty sure. I am telling the truth and I am also really sorry for my actions. I hope you can forgive me too. |

+1You are a really good friend of mine, even since the moment I said 'whalecum!' I do think you deserve to be un-banned, as you've been doing nothing but helping the server out the whole month you've been here. I've also heard other various mods/admins admit to having x-ray packs/clients residing on their computer, or even in use. -ImTyeDye |

+1I feel like Karbs is genuine; he didn't download this client to gain an unfair advantage, and I believe activating the kill aura was an honest mistake |

+1 Karbs, I'll support your appeal because I believe you are a valuable member of this server. One who is kind and helpful. That being said I really do not support the use of hacked clients for ANY reason.The issue is that you gain an unfair advantage by using such clients. TO STAFF: I know it isn't my place but I feel that Karbs deserves at least a temp ban for several days. While what he did is reasonably harmless, it does give him an unfair advantage and I think a tempban would be a good lesson for him. |
