I have decided to make a new application due to my old one becoming too cluttered with irrelevant comments. If you are going to comment on this application, thank-you! I just ask that you please do not be rude and if you want to criticize me, please make it constructive. I would like to know how to improve and can't do this without your advice and support!Thanks. Your in-game name: Willhayter1 How old you are: 19 Your gender (male or female): Male Have you been banned on any other servers? No. temp banned once on my first ever server for leaving a floating tree :( Why do you think you should be a moderator? I would be fair, equal, unbiased and listen to the players. One of the main rules is not to "disrespect staff" - I believe a staff member must respect the players to get it back. All the best mods on this server are patient, understanding and take the time to listen to fellow players. I believe I could bring these values into a staff role. I have never been a mod before on a server, but always resented mean, unfair mods that make the game an unpleasant experience for other players. I have not had the opportunity to experience what it's like to be staff of a server like this and would love the chance to prove myself. How long can you be active on the server every day? At least 2 hours daily, and usually more. What country do you live in? England How long have you been on the server? Not sure, around 5 months now I think. I hope you will consider me. I enjoy this server a great deal and being a mod on a server is something I've never had the privilege of experiencing in all my many years of playing on multiplayer Minecraft (I started in Alpha!). +1 Will is an epic guy and would make an amazing moderator. I remember the first time I joined this server. I had no friends on the server really and I asked to pvp someone. Will said he would and he absolutely wrecked me. I tried again countless times and still couldn't beat him. The amazing thing was that he gave my items back every time no questions asked (bearing in mind this was back when people used to keep items won at the pvp arena). After those first few fights, Will has been kind and helpful to me all the time. He always backs me up, whenever I need any items, he always helps me and he is always there as a friend. He seems to have no self indulgence as if you give him a reasonable request, he will work till he completes it, just for the sake of helping someone out. He is also very respectful to staff and to other players and the addition of Will to the staff board would really benefit the whole server. I feel that he would help everyone, no matter previous squabbles, and hold no grudges. If you want a mod who is reliable and will really help the community, choose WilHayter1!!!!!!!!! |

-1. From my past experiences with him I have found him to be a huge bully. He is rude to me, any argument I get into with another player he will jump in and instantly be against me even though it does not concern him. I doubt he will listen to me or be fair/equal. And empathetic? Don't get me started. |

Vultureboy, I don't like you becasue of all the crap you've made up about me. Don't expect me to be nice to you when I'm online. I've tried talking to you and putting right this pointless feud we seem to have developed but you weren't interested. If I were a mod i would treat everyone the same - names matter not. But while you continue to make my time on the server less enjoyable, I'll respond in the same manner.crazygecko. don't get me started. "Helper"?! all you ever do is broadcast warps to my base, attack me, force tp and kill my animals and generally troll me in any way you can. You didn't even "Help" when Panda was abusing his donator powers (teleporting me, smiting me, throwing endless potions at me etc)... you just joined in!! You should be more responsible with you "Helper" role. You don't help me one bit. Not going to get wound up by someone who can't even spell "harass" anyway. And since when is killing people in /warp pvp breaking the rules? I ALWAYS return items anyway! |

The server is grossly understaffed - the likes crazygecko and other donators can bully us civilians to their hearts content knowing they'll get away with it.Those in power, I now speak directly to you: If you don't mod me, fine. But you need to fucking mod someone because the last few days have been utter anarchy. What little staff you have are way over stretched with the increase of players. As long as the server is made a better place with some responsible mods, I don't mind if it's not me doing the modding, just please mod someone! |

I wouldn't exactly say that but many staff and some non staff are seriously abusing their powers. I have seen people spam kicking, spamming players with lightning, literally screaming in chat, spam broadcasting, spam killing, tp killing, spamming weakness, poison and damage potions, flying in pvp arenas, spawning in beacons and diamond armor, greifing with the survival /fly block break glitch and much more. Some donators and builders deserve bans and we do need more staff. |

+1 Lif for owner...Ok jokes aside, I'm not wanting to cause any trouble, just think the current staff deserve to have some of the pressure lifted off them. They are all doing their best, but when one staff is online with 70+ players, I really feel for how busy they must be. And while they're dealing with 101 problems, they get angry frustrated playes yelling at them (guilty, sorry!) and mean posts directed at them on the forums. Would like to point out that I have indeed gotten angry towards staff in the past. This anger is not usually directed at you, usually a situation has built it up and I tend to vent it on the wrong person. I do apologize if this sounds all too familiar. I'm extremely grateful of all the staff here. |

In my opinion there needs to be certain staff for certain things, Example, A group of staff that deals with grief, another for pvp related, and another for general help with commands, there can be many MORE group but I think these are just the simple ones, ( Of course any staff can help with anything but they'd prioritize their specific group, ) [ I think I said that right ] Also, a possible idea is that there a few, [ Not many] donators that are trust by all that have a temp mute of 5 mins, Or temp mute in general, this way spammers can we dealt with at all/most times. I usually see players ask if staff are on and if none are they start to spam/break rules. Dunno if this will be considered but I think it's defo a good idea. Please +1 if you agree? -Penq :D? x |

I don't know why this hasn't been thought of before.AlexIsPham, it makes you look extremely stupid when you call me a hacker. good armour, lots of potions and golden apples kept me alive through all that Builder abuse of powers.. not hacking. I attacked and stole from Panda when he was in my base. He did the exact same thing to me only didn't manage to kill me despite breaking every rule in the book. Why am I the bad guy here xD i specifically asked in my mod application for CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. I bet you didn't even read what i wrote before coming onto my application and spamming it with irrelevant junk. Why the hell am I arguing with 14 year olds anyway.. just grow up and don't speak another word to me until your balls have dropped kids. |

I am not going to +1 nor am I going to -1.Will, you are a great leader and friend. You will help anybody that you see. You are the first to come to when somebody is in a time of need. You are always friendly and making everybody happy. And the second you do something wrong you fix it right away. They say the sky is the limit, but with Will... he goes for the stars and beyond. I can keep going on and on about this. Will, you sometimes do things that are not quite that good. There may not be a lot, but they still affect a lot. Yes, you do sometimes swear but everybody does once and awhile. I've seen you use smite on somebody before. I don't know if this had a reason, but still. I've never seen you grief or build something for somebody they didn't want and lock it. BUT I have seen you steal someones items. I've seen you do so three times. Goldenflake5, I really appreciate your comment mate, a couple of things to address though...1, I don't have access to smite, I think you may be mistaken on that point - as I'm the citizen+ rank, I don't have the permission to use smite (not that I can think of any reason where smite is actually appropriate!) I do know I haven't exactly got the best reputation on the server for one reason or another, however I will always make the effort to help people. I have never griefed as I believe that would make me no better than a bully knocking over a kids sandcastle! Yes I have stole and swore on occasion, and I can't justify this - I know it was wrong of me, but I guess no-ones perfect, and my patience has a limit! i treat people with the respect I would wish to receive, and I'm merciless on those who harass/abuse me for defensive purpose (the best defense is offence)! On the rare occasion, I tend to say harsh stuff, like what you quoted in your P.S! However I wish I was not wound up to the point where I say stuff like that! Anyway, I could rattle on for hours, so I'll wrap it up by saying, thankyou, I really do appreciate the feedback! I will work on the points you have raised and try my best to use them to make me a better player, and a more viable staff applicant! Good day sir! |

May I just point out goldenflake, that reply. was so damn good. it was much better than any I've seen. This is how I think replies should be. You should discuss their wrongs, and their rights, take a while to type, to really think on what they've done, and then decide. if their the right type, of player, to be come mod, because you know, inside, that sometimes they're right and you wrong but you wont admit that, heh.. You dont admit that because of your maturity. You take sides and just splurt a bunch of biased comments, you know you can get away with it, so why not? Will's done bad, but he's done good. Well in any case, i saw you were quite obviously in creative mode as you were flying, so i picked a random potion to lob, so i could alert you that I was with you. If this was harming potion, then it doesn't really matter, as you were in creative. Am I right? xD |
