Hi, there are many people who (over-)use the /strike command. I ask for removal of this command and will give you a few reasons why I think this command should be removed:1. Annoying That's right, constantly hearing a chain of lightning tearing in the earth is really annoying. Everyone in the world (if located in the same world) hears it. It's fucking ridiculous. 2. Abusable Not only is this command annoying, but it is abusable aswell. You can bypass pvp by striking onto someone with the lightning. If they have pvp disabled, it is not without reason. That person does not want to be murdered by someone else. However, with '/strike' this is easily bypassed, which is my second reason. 3. Useless But what if you don't want to annoy people with the thunder? What if I don't want to bypass pvp and be put in jail? Well then this command has totally no use for you. Let me know what you think and please leave a vote. I vote +1 for this command to be removed from all ranks, even Architect. |

Yes, it is annoying. Usually when i'm on i deal with whoever is spamming smite. (I warn them that we will look in console and see who did it)If it is abused, it will be removed. It is good for killing useless mobs and destroying items without doin /ci (name of item). |

Killing mobs can be done with a variety of swords.Asriel, why do you think it's a good idea to keep it? |

The use of it is so that donators can bypass /pvp only to enforce rules, like to kill griefers or hackers if there's no staff online. |

What luigi said.Donators are like mini moderators whilst staff are not online. hence why they have /kick aswell. Smite is also useful for killing mass amounts of mobs. |

-1 I wish staff really would track down those who are using it constantly and even after asking them to stop smiting they continue, even worse if you got headphones on, its deafening. I don't want it gone as its used by donators to charge creepers to get heads and kill some mobs on occasions, and yes sometimes griefers. You can't (as far as i know) single out lightning strikes to turn off its all weather sounds which a lot don't want off as they want to hear the weather. |

There shouldn't be a time with no active staff luigi, however all your staff are either from the same time zone or in very close ones. The few that are from different ones are too inactive. The only decently active staff are shad, ellie, ck, tom and chip |

I had to remove /smite from JT84 tbh I really have doubt that it was him who was abusing /smite the reason he stated for using /smite was for getting cooked foods more easy since he lost his fire aspect sword. I was thinking about giving him he /smite back until he said this and I will Italic and underline it, this is exactly what he said. JT84 said "I have nothing to do now that James F***ed me over". When he said that I was 100% sure then, the reason why I was doubting myself is because I don't have access to console and Chip doesn't have console so he couldn't tell me either and Luigi was busy or asleep (I don't know which one) so the reason why I knew was because CCShad told me to watch JT84 to see if he was the one since other staff member had to tell him to stop using /smite.TL;DR I removed JT84 /smite because he abused it. |

James I realize what I said was wrong. I was only joking, but I now know you did take it to heart and other people did as well. I also Realize that all you were doing was upholding the server rules. I'm not going to try and defend myself and get my /smite back. I apologize and hope that we can still be friends. Also -1 |
