So lets get into the application. A TL: DR will be at the end as well. What is your gender: I am a male. Have you ever been banned on any other servers? No, I have never been banned from any server. Why do you think you should be an administrator? I think that I should be promoted to administrator because... 1. I have noticed that some of our admins are beginning to become somewhat inactive, and this makes certain problems take much longer to fix than they need to, such as... Breaking warp signs, promoting users inside another faction, granting more claim chunks to factions, giving people money for vote tokens, and so on. 2. There is a lack of admins in the American time zone, meaning if our one American admin can't get on, it can take several hours, or even days, for a simple problem to get fixed. 3. I have over 6 of experience with staffing (7 & 1/2 months of which is with webbcraft), meaning I like to handle things in a professional way, and try to keep my emotions out of decision making and judgment calls. I feel as though I am fair in my decisions and punishments. I also take time to look at evidence and get both sides of a story before deciding what to do. 4. Change. I want to help change things for the better. I want to make the rules more clear in fuzzy areas, such as pvp, and donator rules. I want to help make staff decisions more transparent, and explain our reasoning and thought behind our decisions. I want to help better equip moderators with the tools they need to do their job. And overall, I want to take community feedback and use it to adjust how we run the server, as without our amazing community, we would be nothing. 5. Just like I said on my moderator application, at the end of the day, it isn't about me, is about the server, and how I can help it grow and thrive. How long can you be active on the server every day? This sadly isn't nearly as long as it used to be. I can be active for 2 hours minimum. But I am starting to get on for 3, 4, even 5 hours at a time as of late. What country do you live in? I live in the United States of America, specifically Indiana, which falls under EST (Eastern Standard Time). However, I am also extremely active during European times. How long have you been on the server? It has been over 8 months. I also recently celebrated 7 1/2 months of staffing on this amazing server! Finally, if you feel as though I am not fit for admin, can you please explain why you think I am not doing a good job. No matter if I am promoted or not, I still want to do the best job possible. +1 due to him being the only moderator in this server that knows whats up. like seriously a random teleporter that carries me to peoples base? i have to replant trees? i die of hunger reading all the rules. Let this guy get some more permissions. let him set this server straight. This can be one of the most simple but server changing, change you guys can do. +1 again. Hes lit. Hes an ace. Tbh if you don't give him admin it'll be your loss for making him take time to re-apply. Faster you get this done, faster your server gets fixed. |

Everyone not just in mod applications- it is especially important to share the reason for your stance.Ace, I overall would think you would make a great admin candidate, so +1. You may not exactly be the person I think should be admin but you could make it there if you did a couple of things. I have seen that some people have had negative experiences with you but from small simple things. I think you should continue to go the extra mile as you did when you first became a mod. Sometimes it seems you are just getting a little bored of solving problems but I understand that some situations themselves are just unpleasant. That aside, you have definately made plenty of contributions to the server and I like your opinion on outfitting mods to properly do their jobs. |
