Okay so listen up guys: I have been wanting to make a wither skelly killer using 2 wither skelly spawners. A while back someone changed an existing spawner of mine to wither skelly (dont remember who did it) and then later I exchanged my vote token for another spawner to use next to it. But now all of a sudden all op are saying they aren't allowed to change spawners. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here with the spawner item which I only wanted because they could change it, and now that will only spawn the default mob (which I believe is pig). I think they should issue a rule that people who got a spawner item before the rule change should be allowed to have it changed by admin, because they only got the spawner item assuming an admin would change it for them, so it's kinda mean to suddenly tell them it's gonna be only pig from now on.....If you leave a reply, please say why you chose that. Do not just write +1 pr -1 or abstain, because that's kinda useless |

Wait, it's only allowed to be pig now? Today I viewed some discussion in the chat that was saying it could be other animal spawners or basic monster mobs like zombies, skeletons, and creepers.I'm confused now. Or maybe I just don't know anything, which is highly likely. |

+1 Agree, it seems one day these mobs are allowed next day they are not, giving some members exclusive rights to a certain type of spawner, staff can't agree on anything or maybe not given clear guidance from above, and the rules are constantly changing. Some staff are still moving spawners for some people and then saying no to others. I have a heap of spawners that are useless in there location. You can't keep them safe as it takes to many land claims to claim around a spawner that is sitting on the edge of a chunk. Most factions want their spawners in their claimed land for faction use and safety. Whilst staff can rollback a spawner out in the wilderness, its not safe to afk, another reason they need to be in claimed faction land. |

There never was a "rule change". Staff shouldn't change spawner types for players, I don't get why some think it's okay. It's a donator permission, and donators can change spawners to types they have permission for themselves.If you want to get a spawner item in return for a vote token, you can use the spawn eggs on sale at the shop to change the type of it. Or in the case of wither skeleton spawn eggs that aren't sold at the shop, you can redeem another vote token for the spawn egg. |

A vote is a thing you give to something you deem worthy. You made a large dispute about dontator ranks being donations that eventually ended in removal of commands (which I'm fine with) as you think donations should be to help the server, yet tell people to vote to make an item useful. The spawner item isn't useless if you don't vote. If you only voted once and got a vote token to redeem for it, you can still use it with the default mob which is a pig. Also voting isn't the only way to make money, if you had money from a shop or winning the lottery you could also buy different spawn eggs to change the spawner type. Hence voting isn't necessary to make the item useful, only to get the item. |

Luigi, no one likes pigs. They're common enough that a farm of them would be downright useless.Again: votes are for good things, not bribery. |

No, votes are just like donations, you donate if you think the server is good and get something in return as a thank you gift.You vote if you think the server is good, and get rewards in return as a thank you gift. |

Have to agree with Luigi here. It's not "Donate to us NOW and you'll get all this cool stuff!". Rather it's "Hey, donate to us and we'll give you free stuff along with it". You can replace donate with vote for both of those phrases.On a side note, the shop is great in my opinion. Elytras are that much because it's an infinite source. If it was cheap, you could buy a ton on em, and then sell them for less. I'm surprised that people sell them for as low as $3,000. This is also why Ace's irobshop is $200/stack. If it were less, people could get an infinite amount, and if everyone had an infinite amount, people who work for their iron wouldn't be able to sell it, due to it becoming worthless. That being said I agree that $1/diamond Playershops are fine, because they are a finite amount. They're hard to get, and so eventually the shop will run out of stock, and the owner won't make money. Edit: My thoughts trailed elsewhere from my original point, but spawners shouldnt be easy to get/change because of their OP nature. |
