Okay, idk if it is just me but, what are with the crazy insane prices in the new shop? Here are some examples: 1 Gold Nugget = $75 64 EXP Bottles = $6400 32 Sugar Cane = $15 Anything Belg sells Literally ANY spawn egg (Enderman Egg = $50,000) 1 Elytra = $101,000 COME ON PPL! I could understand some of the prices if the economy was fixed and we had actual ways to earn money, rather than getting the few some are able to earn. But these prices are rediculous. Not even Belg could afford one Elytra. Get your poop in a group if you own any of the new signs in the new shop. Them prices are wayyyyyyy too high, y'all need to cut em' |

Dang, why the heck is an Elytra $101,000?! When I was active on the server they would sell for less than $1000. |

I think the prices are very reasonable. Elytra are supposed to be very rare and give you the ability to fly, so it makes sense for them to cost that much.It also makes sense for spawn eggs and XP bottles to cost that much since they can't be otherwise obtained legitimately in survival mode. The rest of the prices also seem quite reasonable to me, except for sugarcane which is very cheap. |

if spawn eggs and exp bottles can only be spawned in, why are they allowed to be sold? |

Because some animals might be hard to find since everyone kills them. The spawn eggs give another way to make them regenerate. XP bottles were an item for people to waste money on and still get something in return. |

Elytra should be added to the loot table of Ender Dragon drops, that way players who haven't been on the server before, can still access them. They are supposed to be a utility, not something you store in a vault; well you don't have to add them to the loot table just this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yjqa4elLC8g don't quote me on this working because it is a 1.9 video. Also XP bottles can be obtained through villager trading with the purple coat Cleric or whatever they're called. |

(WARING: All my opinion below) Also from the US so will be using the $ for currency. It's more up to us as the community to set the economy if you ask me. Luigi can try and set up the economy the best he can, but along the way there's bound to be someone who messed it up. A lot of those expensive shops at /warp shop such as the 100k elytra are shops that sell items that are becoming unobtainable as time goes on. I've flown by shops that, while empty, at one time sold elytra for 1k a piece. I've sold sets personally from 2.5 - 3k. If anything honestly the economy has been ruined by everyone selling things TOO CHEAPLY! It's ridiculous to have player shops selling stacks of iron ingots for $6 or a stack of coal for $3. Shoot, I even think diamonds are down to like 5 dollars per now... Who the hell thought it was a good idea to make everything dirt cheap and still expect a profit to roll in at any decent speed? When the most expensive COMMON item on the server sells for like $30 a stack it's kinda hard to make any money. If you vote each day, and sell your own stuff, you'll be making plenty of money. My spawn shop rakes in about $300 - $500 server money every two days. I sell the same stuff anyone could sell and collect it all myself to restock. I've seen tons of arguments about this and they all end with someone saying "But I'm too lazy to collect and set up a shop" So what, you just want free money? tl;dr Not hard to make money, just slow, if you take the time to collect materials and set up a DECENT shop. Also, stop selling crap so cheap if you want an economy. |

I agree fatman but when staff try to help by removing shops that are selling diamonds for like $1 we receive a massive backlash and get told that we should not be interfering with the economy... |

Yeah I totally understand Thomas. Even though it's not my place to say either way, I would just keep deleting them. It's kind of suspicious that they're able to sell them that cheap in the first place wouldn't you say? We all know how fun it is to mine diamonds for hours... Why would anyone go about that and then turn around and make a measly $1 profit per for all those hours of mining? Even with a fortune three you can turn around a stack an hour maybe? So you're making $64 an hour lol? I feel like fishy business is what's ruining the economy slowly. We have some bad fish (No names as I don't know personally) who I believe are abusing their creative modes still to this day even though those of us who "abused" the system before no longer have the ability. |

Without telling me straight it "breaks the economy" how does selling diamonds for $1 damage the economy? He sells 64, gets $64 and the guy buying gets 64 diamonds. The guy buying then sells them again for $10 apiece, and slowly but surely gets $640. The guy selling will 100% quickly run out of diamonds and then not have a source of income. |

Farman, hate to disagree, but you got some points wrong. When someone has a massive stock of something they don't need, they would want to get rid of it. In my case, I have 7 DCs full of leather and I'm selling them for very cheap prices. It clears up storage for me, gets my customers leather, and I also make a small profit in the process |

With things like leather it's understandable, but hard to believe with diamonds. I'm not saying it's impossible for someone to want to sell their diamond for $1 a piece, but it seems unlikely without foulplay. Selling diamonds for $1 doesn't ruin the economy as much as it just ruins the minecraft experience. You start off with like $50 when you log onto the server. You shouldn't be able to turn that into a full set of diamond tools and armor within your first 5 minutes. |

My point isn't leather vs. diamonds, it's the fact that diamonds are not a renewable resource. You sell them, you aren't getting them back. |
