at 6:00 am eastern time on Sunday, July 24th 2016, i was banned by penq for something that i was not even aware happened. i apparently "Griefed 300+ blocks from Sotiri" but at the time which penq said i griefed Sotiri i was working on my sky base and mining for resources. I do not know what happened, and I have been perm-banned for something that I didnt know happened. |

I had to rollback Sotiri's home; he claimed grief and it was 'kma2' who broke the bocks 0.86h ago ( at the time I rolled it back ) You took an enchanting set up, farming supplies ect. It totalled up to 300 ish blocks. Don't lie when /co inspect tells the truth, always. |

I don't think 300 blocks deserves a permanent ban though... |

The punishment for grief is a ban, I don't know what person can grief 300 blocks by 'accident' and without the intention of actually griefing.I don't know why people think griefing 3 fucking hundred blocks/items isn't ban worthy. Jesus. |

Grief is grief, read the definition, it is impossible to grief by accident. The definition states that it is a malicious act - therfore would need to be done on purpose.Let's put it into real world situation: You steal a car and you get a few years in prison? (This is the grief of 300 blocks and temporary ban) Rob a bank and you'll obviously get a lot longer... about 10 years - life in prison? (This is griefing more like 1000 blocks and a permanent ban) They are both the same crime (stealing) except one is more severe and requires a harder punishment / rehabilitation method. Niether of them can be an accident by definition. You don't put a guy in prison for the rest of his life for stealing a car do you? No, just a few years max. BTW your statement of /co I ALWAYS being correct is false. If the database were to be overloaded / corrupt in some way, false names and times would be displayed. For example: not too long ago, luigi, Eddie, and myself were investigating the CloudyBogdan hacked conspiracy, where some people had gone into single player and re-created their house and put a figurine of CloudyBogdan in front of the house, using a tnt cannon to grief them, they used this as evidence to get him banned. When we went to the house on the server to look at the block data, it said something stupid like ElfMajorFalcon (yes he was the actual username) placed fence 1.2/h ago. We did /seen on ElfMajorFalcon and he hadn't been online in months... other random names popped up aswell. The data got messed up and overloaded. |

I feel that it should of not been a perm ban. It should of only been a temp. Therfore +1. |

For me0-50 blocks: warning and reminder that greifing isn't allowed 50-100 blocks: 1 day tempban/Jail 100-200 blocks: 2 day tempban/Jail 200-300 blocks 3 day tempban/Jail 300+ blocks permanent ban I don't follow this exactly. If some greifs 48 blocks for example I might Ban/Jail for a day depending on the situation. |
