Mumfie, I understand you may have been joking around, but I do not appreciate that.Many people on this server, including me, are from The United States of America, and I'm fairy sure they wouldn't appreciate someone stereotyping their home as stupid. It isn't ethical, and I am very sure you wouldn't like your home nation being discriminated over a small fraction of the populous. I understand that it may be a joke in the end. I can handle it, even though it is quite tedious and rude, however some other people may not. The discrimination of a different nationality shouldn't be allowed here, as a community we are one as a whole. We are friends, collegues, workers, and we don't deserve to be treated based on stereotypes. Even though I give a -1 in this app for various reasons, one shouldn't be because of someone's nationality or where they came from. Please, it's all I ask, don't discriminate against another nationality, treat them like they came from Earth, as a human, with respect that they deserve until proven otherwise not by a generalization of a fraction of a populous but as an independent person. |
