Ok so why is there even taxes, before we got on fine without them. They are jsut annoying.Do they even do anything? Also when i did /tax pay it instantly demanded me pay again.. and again.. and again. That is stupid. Also it's bugged for me now when displaying my balance... It is just a long string of numbers... and a letter... yup. http://puu.sh/mIvvu/671bcf5f5e.pngEssentially it should be killed... before it lays eggs. |

Please remove it. Not for any particular reason, I just hate how I paid 70k in taxes on one payment xD |

I've already explained countless times in other topics why taxes are necessary for economic stability and also how they add the benefit of an extra element of realism to the game. The progressive tax system promotes less income inequality and redistributes funds from those few who hoard massive amounts of wealth to collective goods and services that benefit the entire community. You're only meant to pay taxes once per day, and if you accidentally pay more than you need to, the extra can be counted for your tax tomorrow. Your balance shown is not bugged. The E-11 at the end represents times 10 to the power of -11, which as you know is a really really small fraction (practically zero). This is your actual balance (not rounded) which is used for tax purposes. Using the /balance command shows you a rounded figure to two decimal places, which in your case is zero and for practical purposes should be considered as so. |

The tree assist plugin doesn't make the game more realistic in a few ways. In real life it takes much more time to chop down a tree with just an axe. Also, in real life you need to chop the tree up into multiple logs and remove branches before it can be made into planks, which is similar to what happens in minecraft. You need to chop every usable log block, they don't all fall magically into a big pile once the base of the tree is chopped. |

What luigi said. If you wanted a realistic way to do things on minecraft then pay modded, it is much more scientific then classic vanilla. |

But in real life trees don't float |

In terms of resource gathering and functionality of the game in comparison to real life, it makes no difference if the tree remains upright (floating) or if it topples over and the wood blocks, now part of a horizontal trunk on the ground, still have to be chopped individually which would be more aesthetically realistic. After all, in minecraft gravity doesn't seem to work like normal for most blocks which are able to float in the air, so why should it work for trees? |

So why don't you get a plugin that makes the tree topple on its side |

Because of what I just said. It's not necessary because all blocks (except sand and gravel) already float in minecraft. Plus I don't think such a plugin exists because it would be overly complicated to create. There are various problems: what if there is no room for the tree to fall over? What if the tree is at the edge of a cliff? What if the tree falls on top of the player and suffocates them? If the tree cannot fall over, then it creates inconsistency in gameplay because then sometimes the tree will fall over but sometimes it won't, and if it is allowed to fall over all the time and replace blocks it could be used for griefing, etc. |

I agree with Luigi, some of us like realism. Taxes aren't to bad. |
