Before I BeginThis list is in no way to undermine the abilities of Luigi or any staff member, and is merely a suggestion to boost the server again. More Goals - Something to Work For When a person joins Webbcraft, they usually play for a month or two, then leave. While there are some who stay, many just go and find another server. This is because they get bored, tired of the same old survival. They need something to work towards. What I am introducing is to add ranks (with automatic rankups) that require money, xp, or other valuables in order to rankup to the next. Ranking up would gain the player benefits, such as new kits. Another way to add goals is through the McMMO plugin, which you can read about here: http://mcmmo.wikia.com/wiki/McMMO_Wiki. Reorganized Staff Team The server's staff team, in all honesty, is not the best in the world. Nor is the organization. I propose that we organize it like so: -Owner -Manager/Co-Owner (I'll get to this later) -Head-Admin -4 Admins -Head-Mod (equal to Admins) -8 Mods -15 Helpers (with permissions that are actually useful) This model will help address many issues, such as staff being needed but not being online. Manager/Co-Owner This person would be able to manage the server via the console, have access to server files and config. Obviously, they need to be trusted by Luigi. This would help for the minor lack of management and enable the server to expand and get new things (everything you've posted in this section!). Enjin Website? Maybe. I'm not sure on this one, but I think it'd be nice to use an Enjin website. It would be much more suitable for a server, and has loads of cool things like instant donation ranks! While this website is fine, I think an Enjin website would make the server more impressive. New Vote Rewards We need something to get players to vote again. I suggest vote crates, while there are loads of other things out there. Suggest what you think should be used in the comments! All +1 except from the "15 helpers".... no.I say 3 helpers... that is if we ever get the helper rank back. |

Even 8 mods is too much in my opinion. The current staff organization is fine: 1 owner, 1 head admin, 5 admins and 5 mods. With the current amount of players regularly online, we don't need heaps of staff. Too many cooks spoil the broth.With the goals suggestion, I always thought of adding a level system which is separate from the ranks, because in terms of ranks there's not really much else to add other than new kits which sort of defeat the purpose of survival in my opinion, if they become too OP. With vote rewards, last week I added free lottery tickets (chance of 1 or 2) and also vote tokens (42% chance for every 5 votes) to the voting rewards. Vote tokens can currently be redeemed for the citizen+ rank but may also become part of the criteria for the member rank and/or staff ranks in the future. |

Maybe we should expand into the world of Tekkit with the server? In my opinion it's not so much the server as it's the game itself that's lacking the pizzazz you desire to continue playing. People tend to only play Minecraft in general for a month or two before quitting or taking a break. If you look at all the successful servers out there with 200+ players on all day long they're all minigame servers. These servers thrive and stay relevant by constantly adding new minigames and removing the older less attractive ones. It's not fair to try and compete with these servers in terms of enjoyment when we're trying to keep the survival feel going. That's where my suggestion comes in. maybe if we switched the server over to a Tekkit server or even added a 2nd Webbcraft server that ran Tekkit with a selection of selectively picked mods either by Luigi himself or by the community as a whole we could have the best of both worlds. We could have the feel of new content in Minecraft while still playing Survival. I know Minecraft would be more fun just in general with a few new mobs to run into or some new weapons and ores to collect and make. The options are endless with Tekkit really. |

-1 to fatman's comment, absolutely.+1 to everything here with the exception of the 4 mods & 15 helpers, 4/5 helpers do sound nice though, shame helper isn't actually an existing rank anymore, nor was it a staff one. |
