I was temp banned for 4 days, I was not given a reason for the ban. I was not online when the ban was issued. if the ban was issued for griefing then that was not the case. I was in fact raiding which when i checked on the rules page at spawn was not mentioned and so therefore could be assumed to be allowed. The factions i had raided that day were "SteamPanda's" And one called "sjdp"Just for the clarification of the admin i will describe the key differences between raiding and griefing: Website Definitions: Griefing is the act of irritating and angering people in video games through the use of destruction and construction (Raiding) Quickly and illicitly take something from (a place). I did not actively grief. in fact the only blocks i had broken was where the block under a chest and the one in front. THAT WAS IT (creeper got a room so floor gone in one room upstairs and a wall was broken accidentally) however you may believe that the absence of redstone lamps was griefing, but griefing is far more general and if i HAD tried to grief then i would have blown the place up! So i would like to treat this as an misunderstanding and be unbanned and consequently have the rules on the server better clarified in terms of how factions can perform with other factions. thanks for reading. |
