I got banned for raiding but I didn't think i was in any active areas. the places i was taking from were all unclaimed land and had signs of prior picking. I didn't try to break into anyones claimed land and if i was on unclaimed land that someone was using without claiming then i apologize. my goal is not to grief people because i know how that feels, people used to kill my animals and villagers weekly until i locked them all up. So again if i was on someones active land it was not intentional there are enough people out there actively trying to ruin peoples days and thats not how play. |

If I may I would also like to make a request to add an additional rule to the list of server rules that specifies the do's and don't sin reference to raiding. I'm not stupid and I understand that taking from someone's base of operations is "raiding". But as everyone knows this land is smattered with the remains of old bases, houses, farms and so on. If someone comes across an abandoned site on wilderness land like this and takes from it that's just scavenging. On the same note if you run across the same thing on unclaimed land but has obvious signs of use then simply move on. Please make a note if this in the rules so in the future players don't get themselves into trouble unintentionally. I understand that the moderators make the final decisions on rules violations so my future here is up to them and I will leave it to them. But know that any violation of rules be me was definitely not malicious and by no means do I want to be labeled as a rule breaker. Again my apologies if took from someone's land that was unclaimed but in use and to help out other new players possibly place signs if you can't claim the land for some reason that way players passing through know to leave things as they are. Idventure, the amount of bans recently just shows staff actually doing their job. The players being banned deserve it. |

I understand what your saying Lerz, but what I'm talking about is there are sites all over the world that are just abandoned. Understand I would not go onto someone's claimed land and knowingly take there stuff. That chest was on unclaimed land so I assumed it was like the rest of the junk scattered around. If that was still occupied by someone I have no problem giving it back. I didn't realize it was an active plot of land. That's why I asked if you could make a note of it in the rules so myself or anyone else doesn't make the same mistake. I'm sure others have made the same mistake and they too may have not done knowing they were breaking the rules. I have only been on for a couple month and I have never knowingly broke the rules. I help others when I can and pretty much keep to myself. I know you hear every excuse under the sun from people who get banned and I just wanted to let you know my side of it so you could see that it was an honest mistake and now I know that claimed or unclaimed scavaging is not allowed. If I have ruined my privilege to play on your server, that's how it will have to be. Keep up the good work you guys are doing. It really is a nice server to play on. Sincerely LT. |

Sorry about taking your stuff Pepper. I hope you believe me when I tell you I didn't know I was on your land because it was showing as wilderness land. I would be happy to get your stuff back to you and make things right. I didn't do this to grief you it really was a mistake on my part. I wish Lerz would have said something to me when he was watching me. Then I would have known not to do that and we could've put your stuff back right then and that would have been the end of it. Again sorry for that man. I'm not out here to make enemy's with anyone and I'll do whatever I can to make this up to you. |

I spent an hour reading through old ban appeal posts and found Pepper and Harriboy, you guys got banned for the same thing i did and both got a second chance. I believe you guys probably made the same dumb mistake I did so why are you giving me the -1's? I think there should be a rule 13: Any none world generated block i.e. anything placed by a player, is off limits and shouldn't be tampered with. To include all chests, armor stands, item frames ext. This would definitely eliminate any chance of accidental greifing or theft. Meaning anyone doing that after would be intentionally breaking the rules. Im only bringing this up because I'm upset over this whole situation and hopefully other new players can learn from it. I too would like to have a second chance so that I might have the chance in the future to help someone else from making the same mistake. You can believe me in my sincerity for the one fact that in the three months I have been playing, I have Never broken the rules or caused trouble on the server. I feel like its my home and with your permission I would like to return. Either way you choose I hold no ill will to the staff. I know its hard to trust anyone now a days and you have to make the decision thats best for the server. Thanks again for listening. |

Oh sorry I didn't realize you were still banned. I just read old posts and one was for you and I thought the moderators unbanned you. I may have miss understood it. Sorry about that.I didn't break anything I was on some unclaimed land that I think might have been yours, that had broken and missing blocks stuff like that and I thought it was an abandoned site and took items out of the chest there. So after reading all of the old messages on the forums I found out right away that all player placed items no matter where you find them should be considered off limits. That's what I was explaining before that I didn't know that so will definitely not do that again. I also read a lot of posts where veteran players say there is rules somewhere explaining the removal of player placed items but I can't find it and I have looked everywhere. I hope I didn't overlook part of the rules because I read the list on the forums and I think it was the same ones posted at the old spawn site. I really screwed this one up big time. Again if I took your stuff Pepper I'm really sorry for that and if I get back on I'll get with you and fix this for you. |

Yes Harri I used a mine cart hopper on a locked chest. Like I stated before its 100% clear to me now after some more reading that no matter where you are or think you are, probably a good idea to leave everything alone that doesn't look naturally spawned in game. I wish I would have spent more time reading on the forums because you get tons of info that will answer most questions you might have. |

I understand you completely. I just got all wrapped around the claimed and unclaimed land and that's where I made the wrong decision. I know chests auto lock when ever you put them down and I think the only ones that are unlocked are in the dungeons not sure. That's why I didn't think I was breaking the rules. I'm not denying what I did and not saying I shouldn't be punished to learn my lesson. I'm trying to make it clear to everyone that I made a poor decision. No disrespect to you guys, I didn't mean you did exactly what I did but you guys may have been unclear on what was off limits like myself. I dont want you guys to think I'm a bad person because I'm not. |

jackson_lt I'm very sorry to hear that you were banned, but we cant just let a raider back on the server... And you know you shouldnt have done it... The rules are at spawn, and all players have to read them... Think before you act in future please... Good Luck on your next server.. |

Thank you for the kind words Beetle. It seems no one believes me and I have been pre judged as a liar and someone without moral character. I am the most sorry of anyone because that hurts me more than any punishment that can be handed down by those who hold their position of power above their wisdom.I am the only member of my Faction Semper Fi. This is short for Semper Fidelis when translated from Latin means "Always Faithful". This is also the moto of the United States Marine Corps where I proudly served for five years. It is here that I learned and cultivated the values of Honor, Courage and Commitment and I follow these values then and always. So for those who still hold judgment against me and will continue to think ill of me, so be it. In my country people are free to hold their own beliefs and I served to protect those rights. Until someone walks in my shoes they will never understand the type of person that I am. You have created a great place here where people enjoy themselves and if by my absence it helps keep this a great place then I will be happy for that. I will continue to hold my head high knowing that my actions, while breaking a rule were not done with any malicious intent. I only hope that others who make mistakes don't suffer the same fate as myself, and may they read this and learn from it. It would be a good idea to put into your list of 12 rules something explaining in detail about the removal of any player placed items no matter the location, active or otherwise. If I may make one last request to the Mods. I would like you to give my lands to Pepper because I believe it was him I took from. I have a working egg farm, villager farm, gold farm that produces about a stack of nuggets per hour and a large farm with all of the harvestable items and livestock in breeding pens. This should be more than enough to make up for what i did and I would like hime to have it. Good bye my friends. Believe me for I speak the truth and best of wishes to you all. |

Thank you Luigi for your forgiveness. It means a lot that you still believe in me. You understand that a person's word is his most valuable asset and I wanted peoples trust more than anything. So I will take advantage of this and do more on my part to help out the server by helping others and just overall being more actively involved. Its going to be a long road to regaining an honorable reputation but I won't back down from any challenge. My first order of business is to get with you Pepper and find out what you need from me. I owe a great debt of gratitude to you as well as everyone else who believes in me. For those who may still have suspicions, let my actions from this day forward speak for me. Thank you again.
